Second acquisition in four months brings ease of deployment and orchestration expertise to d-Matrix’s silicon-to-software data center inference stack

d-Matrix, the pioneer in ultra-low-latency AI inference for data centers, announced the acquisition of Wallaroo.ai, a leader in AI inference deployment and orchestration software. The acquisition brings d-Matrix the technology platform, intellectual property, and expert engineering talent of Walaroo.ai.

The integration of Wallaroo follows the acquisition of GigaIO’s data center business in April, and further advances d-Matrix as a category leader for rack-scale heterogeneous AI solutions that pair GPUs with specialty XPUs to achieve maximum speed and energy efficiency.

With Wallaroo, d-Matrix now offers an end-to-end inference platform spanning high-performance silicon to deployment software making it easy for customers to deploy and scale low-latency inference from single-server nodes to multi-rack data center scale.

The members of Wallaroo’s engineering, product, and go-to-market teams joining d-Matrix bring deep expertise in software architecture, high-performance computing, Kubernetes operations, and AI inference systems.

“Our customers are deploying AI inference across increasingly complex, heterogeneous environments and they’ve told us the biggest barrier isn’t just performance, it’s also the operational complexity of getting there,” said Sid Sheth, founder and CEO of d-Matrix. “Wallaroo solves that. By integrating deployment and orchestration software directly into our stack, we’re giving customers the simplest, fastest path from evaluation to production-scale inference. We believe AI infrastructure should expand intelligence while expanding efficiency and that starts with making it effortless to deploy.”

“What drew us to d-Matrix was our shared belief that inference requires seamless deployment and scale, not just faster chips,” said Vid Jain, Founder and CEO of Wallaroo.AI. “Combining our AI orchestration software with d-Matrix’s purpose-built silicon immediately creates an inference platform that’s leaps and bounds ahead of the market. We’re thrilled to join a company with this level of vision and execution, as well as with an extraordinary culture. We’re very excited to build the future together.”

NordVPN’s Dark Web Monitor already alerts users when their personal data, such as passwords or card details, shows up in a breach. Transaction monitoring extends that protection to cover financial accounts directly, notifying users the moment suspicious activity is detected.

Fraud often goes unnoticed precisely because keeping track of transactions across multiple accounts is tedious. Online shopping adds more risk through compromised websites, insecure payment methods, misleading free trials, and hidden charges. The sooner a suspicious transaction is caught, the better the chances of limiting the damage.

“Most people only look at their bank statement once a month, if that. By then, a fraudulent charge has had weeks to go unnoticed,” says Domininkas Virbickas, product director at NordVPN. “Financial stress is bad enough without also having to wonder whether someone is quietly draining your account. Transaction monitoring takes that worry off the table.”

Also Read: Koyfin Launches Daily Sync to Automatically Update Client Portfolios

Transaction monitoring is available only for financial institutions in the United States for now, but NordVPN plans to bring it to more countries in the future. The feature is already available on Android, iOS, and Windows devices, and is coming to macOS in the following weeks.

How it works

Users connect their bank accounts through the NordVPN app using a secure third-party platform. Once a bank is selected, the user logs in to their online banking website, and grants authorization to connect selected bank accounts. No credentials are stored by NordVPN.

Once connected, the feature pulls the account’s transaction history and uses it to build a statistical profile of what normal spending looks like for that account. Every new transaction that comes in is then analyzed against that profile. If something deviates from the expected pattern, an alert is sent immediately.

Multiple accounts can be connected and monitored simultaneously, all manageable from a single place in the NordVPN web app. Alerts appear in nearly real time, and users can acknowledge or act on them directly from there. Accounts can be disconnected at any time.

Alkami Technology, Inc., a digital sales and service platform provider for financial institutions in the U.S., announced the expansion of its partnership with Plaid, the data network powering the digital financial ecosystem. Through a pre-built integration within the Alkami Digital Banking Platform, financial institutions can allow account holders to link external accounts instantly, see all their transactions in one place, and get clean, accurate data about where their money is going.

For financial institutions, this means less time building and more time delivering better experiences for their account holders. Because Plaid is embedded in the Alkami Platform, financial institutions can offer these capabilities to their account holders with minimal technical lift, and replace fragmented data experiences.

“For financial institutions, delivering exceptional digital experiences increasingly depends on providing account holders with a complete, connected view of their financial lives,” said Josh Winstead, vice president, corporate development at Alkami. “This next phase of our partnership with Plaid reflects a shared commitment to making it easier for banks and credit unions to deliver connected experiences through a unified digital sales and service platform.”

The integration is now live and available to financial institutions on the Alkami Platform, enabling them to leverage Plaid’s connectivity without separate vendor management or custom development.

Key capabilities include:

Instant Account Verification: Allows account holders to securely link external accounts in seconds for transfers and bill payments, while institutions receive verified identity data on every linked account, helping to reduce fraud risk and increase confidence in every transaction.

Transactions consolidation: Aggregates external account data directly within digital banking, giving account holders a complete view of their finances across financial institutions while helping banks and credit unions strengthen their position as the primary financial relationship.

Data enrichment: Improves first-party transaction data with enhanced merchant descriptions and intelligent categorization, reducing disputes while delivering more meaningful financial insights.

By integrating Plaid directly into the Alkami Platform, financial institutions benefit from broader account coverage, more reliable connections, and higher-quality financial data. In a recent test, Plaid’s onboarding flow converted 23% better than competitors, and the results speak for themselves: more than 95% of accounts are eligible for instant authentication, monthly disconnection rates stay below 1%, and transaction categorization accuracy outperforms legacy aggregators for both financial institutions and their account holders.1

“Financial institutions are under increasing pressure to deliver connected, intuitive digital banking experiences,” said Adam Yoxtheimer, head of partnerships at Plaid. “By expanding our partnership with Alkami, we’re bringing Plaid’s trusted connectivity and financial data capabilities directly into the Alkami Digital Banking Platform, helping financial institutions deliver a more complete financial experience that deepens engagement and strengthens account holder relationships.”

Dropzone AI, a leading agentic SOC company, announced the general availability of AI Threat Hunter, its proactive hunting agent. The agent lets security teams run structured hunt packs across their environment to find the threats, emerging risks, and coverage gaps that existing alerts were never designed to catch. First shown at the RSA Conference in March, AI Threat Hunter is now generally available to enterprises, MSSPs and government agencies.

Security alerts flag activity that matches predefined detection rules, helping teams identify known threats and suspicious behavior, but they are only one lens into the environment. Threat hunting looks for everything else. Finding and remediating the emerging risks and coverage gaps that alerts were not designed to surface is a critical part of any security program. The problem: Traditional threat hunting demands specialized expertise, custom queries, and analyst time that most teams simply cannot spare. A single hunt can take 10 to 20 hours of work, so hunting tends to happen rarely, reactively, or not at all. AI Threat Hunter removes these barriers by turning hunting into an achievable, routine part of the SOC, with the team deciding what to hunt and the agent doing the work.

With more than 270 hunt packs mapped to real attacker behavior and MITRE ATT&CK, it doesn’t just query your tools. It investigates like a senior analyst, connecting evidence across your security stack and returning a complete, reasoned finding you can act on immediately. Each pack bundles 5 to 10 hunts that run together, so work that once consumed a team’s week now returns results in about one to two hours, with every step fully transparent and in your control. Unlike conversational hunting assistants or solutions that simply help analysts search data, AI Threat Hunter is a repeatable, scheduled operation that takes threat hunting from a nice-to-have to operationalized.

Also Read: Sumsub Introduces First AI-powered Trust Infrastructure as Compliance Operations Evolve

AI Threat Hunter is already running federated, hypothesis-driven hunts across Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike NG-SIEM, Elastic, and Panther. Beyond active threats, each hunt surfaces posture insights such as visibility gaps, policy violations, and misconfigurations, along with detection opportunities. Teams can export threat reports and summaries in the UI, review hunt history, and rely on context memory that filters out known-benign activity in their environment. Additional capabilities are planned for the second half of 2026, including custom hypothesis-based hunts, more data sources, and tighter integration with Dropzone AI’s AI SOC Analyst to enable response actions.

“Attackers already operate at machine speed. Compute, not skill, is their bottleneck now, and defenders can’t out-hire that gap. AI Threat Hunter lets any team proactively identify undetected intrusions at the same speed, turning hunting from a once-a-year luxury into an operational habit and leveling a field that’s been tilting toward attackers for years. Analysts can now stay focused on the judgment only they can give rather than the mechanics of building and running hunts.” said Edward Wu, Founder and CEO of Dropzone AI.

More than 300 enterprises and MSSPs run the Dropzone AI platform today, and the results are consistent: teams reclaim hours and investigate more of their environment than ever. Zapier cut triage from 10 to 15 minutes to under two, an 85% reduction. UiPath saved 700+ analyst hours and cut false positives by 86%. Assala Energy hit 100% alert investigation and 5x faster response with a lean team. AI Threat Hunter brings that same machine-speed advantage to threat hunting, in beta alone it automated the equivalent of 200 years of hunting work.

“AI Threat Hunter ran this without pulling a single person off their queue, and by the end of it we had a clear, evidence-backed finding we could take straight to leadership. That’s the kind of leverage a security team actually needs,” said Greg Spillman, Cyber Fusion Center Technical Lead.

Cyware, the leader in agentic AI-powered threat intelligence operationalization, announced a partnership with Armis from ServiceNow, a global leader in cyber exposure management & security, to deliver asset-centric threat intelligence operationalization. The collaboration combines Armis’ unparalleled real-time asset visibility with Cyware’s advanced threat contextualization capabilities. This empowers security teams to seamlessly map global threat intelligence directly onto their unique asset landscapes, moving organizations from reactive firefighting to proactive, automated defense.

The modern enterprise faces an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape where adversaries leverage automated “agentic” swarms to scan for vulnerabilities. Simultaneously, the proliferation of IoT, OT, and unmanaged devices has created a “visibility gap,” making a significant portion of environments invisible to traditional security agents.

The Need for Asset-Centric Contextualization
To be effective, threat intelligence must be contextualized against an organization’s specific asset landscape. Security teams must identify not just the existence of a threat, but which specific assets from medical equipment to manufacturing controls—are exposed to a specific actor’s techniques, tactics, and procedures.

Also Read: Box Unveils Agent Security Controls to Secure AI Operating Across Enterprise Content

The Armis from ServiceNow & Cyware Strength
Armis provides continuous, real-time asset intelligence through Armis Centrix, the Armis Cyber Exposure Management Platform. Cyware complements this with its advanced Threat Intelligence Contextualization Platform and Workflow Automation engine, Cyware Intelligence Suite, using Agentic AI to dynamically prioritize risk, reveal attack paths, and drive preemptive mitigation.

A Proactive Defense Supercharged by AI
The integration supercharges security operations by correlating asset profiles against global threat feeds and historical data specific to each customer and what matters to them right now. This enables automated responses based on real-time telemetry, ensuring high-value assets are shielded the moment a relevant, customer specific threat is identified.

“The integration of Armis and Cyware eliminates the silos between asset management and threat intelligence,” said Sachin Jade, Chief Product Officer at Cyware. “By providing asset-centric threat contextualization, we are giving CISOs the ‘ground truth’ they need. We aren’t just identifying risks; we are using AI-driven orchestration to remediate those risks before the adversary can pivot. This is the future of proactive defense.”

“This partnership empowers joint customers to bridge the critical gap between real-time asset visibility and automated threat response,” said Nadir Izrael, group vice president at Armis from ServiceNow. “Together, we are enabling security teams to shift from reactive, manual firefighting to a proactive, AI-driven defense that protects their entire attack surface.”

Cyware is leading the industry in Agentic AI-powered operationalized threat Intelligence and collective defense, helping security teams transform threat intelligence from fragmented data points to actionable, real-time decisions. We unify threat intelligence management, intel sharing and collaboration, as well as hyper-orchestration and automation eliminating silos and enabling organizations to outmaneuver adversaries faster and more effectively.

From enterprises to government agencies and ISACs, Cyware empowers defenders to turn intelligence into action.

BOND.AI, the creator of the Empathy Engine® and the Autopilot suite of AI solutions for financial institutions, announced the launch of self-service access to ARIA, its AI-powered banking intelligence platform. For the first time, banks and credit unions can subscribe to ARIA online and begin using banking-specific artificial intelligence in minutes.

Unlike general-purpose AI platforms, ARIA was developed exclusively for financial institutions. It combines institution-specific data, banking intelligence, and predictive analytics to help executives answer strategic questions about financial performance, forecast future outcomes, benchmark against peers, and evaluate business decisions with greater confidence.

“Artificial intelligence has become widely available, but most AI platforms were never designed for banking,” said Michael Whitacre, Chief Revenue Officer at BOND.AI. “ARIA gives financial institutions an AI solution that understands banking, protects sensitive information, and delivers insights grounded in the realities of running a bank or credit union.”

Also Read: SUNMI Expands SoftPOS Platform to Bring Secure Contactless Payments to More Smart Business Devices

Built on more than a decade of banking innovation and powered by BOND.AI’s Empathy Engine®, ARIA is designed to help financial institutions move beyond descriptive reporting toward predictive decision-making. Users can ask natural-language questions about deposits, lending, liquidity, net interest income, peer performance, and other critical metrics, receiving institution-specific responses instead of generic AI-generated content.

The platform also addresses one of the financial industry’s growing concerns surrounding artificial intelligence: data privacy. ARIA provides a secure environment for analyzing confidential institutional information without relying on public AI models for sensitive financial discussions.

In addition to specialized AI capabilities, ARIA subscribers have access to experienced banking consultants who can help interpret results, answer strategic questions, and ensure institutions maximize the value of the platform. This combination of artificial intelligence and human expertise gives executives additional confidence when evaluating forecasts, validating strategies, and making high-impact business decisions.

The launch of self-service subscriptions reflects BOND.AI‘s commitment to making advanced banking AI more accessible to community banks, regional institutions, and credit unions seeking practical, affordable tools to improve decision-making.

“AI should help bankers make better decisions, not simply generate more information,” Whitacre added. “By combining banking-specific intelligence with expert guidance, ARIA delivers a practical solution financial institutions can trust.”

Telecommunications leader AT&T has entered into an agreement to significantly expand its deployment of D-Wave Quantum Inc.’s quantum computing technologies across its global network operations, accelerating high-intensity compute tasks and operational efficiencies. Building upon early implementation efforts where D-Wave’s quantum annealing technology dramatically slashed network optimization processing times from approximately one hour to under 15 seconds AT&T will layer these advanced compute capabilities directly into its agentic AI systems to power critical operational workflows like outage detection, traffic management, technician routing, and long-term network build planning. Highlighting the game-changing efficiency gains realized across backend operations, Lucus Haugen, director, Data Science for AT&T’s Chief Data Office, stated:
