Nucleai, a leader in AI-powered spatial biology analytics, and Sirona Dx, a Technical CRO, specialized in spatial biology and single-cell services, announced a strategic partnership to deliver a fully integrated and scalable spatial proteomics solution for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Spatial proteomics platforms are generating increasingly rich and complex tissue data, yet a significant portion of that data’s biological value remains unrealized. Critical insights, including novel spatial biomarkers, treatment response signatures, and patient stratification patterns, are often under extracted due to sub-optimal assay development and fragmentation across assay development, imaging, and analytics. As multiplex imaging technologies advance, the gap between data generation and actionable insight continues to widen, leaving substantial value unrealized.

This partnership introduces a premium, fully integrated offering for pharma sponsors, delivered as a single engagement unified across the entire workflow. Sirona Dx leads assay design, development, and validation to ensure high-quality image generation, while Nucleai delivers AI-powered spatial analytics from feature extraction through biomarker discovery and biological interpretation. Together, the companies provide a seamless end-to-end solution in which highest quality tissue data is connected directly to actionable biological insight.

“Until now, pharma teams haven’t had a seamless way to translate spatial proteomics data into actionable biological insight,” said Avi Veidman, CEO of Nucleai. “Together with Sirona Dx, we’re delivering a single, integrated path from tissue data to meaningful biological insight — enabling more confident biomarker decisions and ultimately improving the probability of clinical success.”

“Pharma sponsors are investing heavily in spatial biology and need solutions that match both the quality and complexity of their data,” said Nasry Yassa, CEO of Sirona Dx. “Our partnership with Nucleai augments our capabilities to deliver fully integrated insight, providing a more seamless and effective model for supporting drug development programs.”

The joint offering supports applications across oncology, immunology, and neuroscience, including biomarker discovery and validation, patient stratification, mechanism of action studies, and clinical trial biomarker programs.

The partnership, combining best-in-class experimental and analytical capabilities, is timed perfectly to meet growing demand from pharma sponsors for integrated spatial biology solutions.

NTT Research, Inc., a division of NTT, announced the launch of Scale Academy, a startup incubator responsible for bringing to market products and services based upon technologies studied within the labs of NTT Research and NTT R&D. NTT Research also revealed Scale Academy’s first product, SaltGrain, a zero-trust data security suite powered by attribute-based encryption (ABE). Leading Scale Academy is NTT Research SVP of Product Innovation Bennett Indart.

NTT Research announced Scale Academy at Upgrade 2026, the company’s annual research and technology innovation summit taking place April 15-16 at the Signia by Hilton San Jose.

Scale Academy: From Academic Research to Market Reality

NTT Research was founded as a corporate subsidiary with a mandate to engage in basic scientific research. Now in its seventh year of operations, NTT Research has also formalized a duty that aligns with its corporate status, namely: to identify technologies with strong commercial potential and guide them through the early phases of business success.

Its newly established Scale Academy is executing that role with SaltGrain, a zero-trust data security suite that leverages ABE, a cryptographic scheme first proposed in a 2004 paper co-authored by Dr. Amit Sahai of UCLA and Dr. Brent Waters, who now serves as the director of NTT Research’s Cryptography & Information Security (CIS) Lab. The product name combines Salt – a term for enhanced hash security – with Grain, which alludes to ABE’s ability to provide access to data on a granular level.

“As NTT Research enters its ‘2.0’ phase, we are launching Scale Academy to iterate and grow the most promising new NTT technologies into market success,” said NTT Research President and CEO Kazu Gomi. “As the first case out of Scale Academy, we will push SaltGrain, which we believe the market is ready for. SaltGrain is a data security suite that breaks the prevailing all-or-nothing file-access paradigm, closes cybersecurity gaps and enhances privacy protection, which is much needed in the environment where AI agents are everywhere and playing a wide variety of roles.”

Startup incubators, well-known to venture capital firms, large universities and R&D-focused corporations, provide new ventures with separate governance and explicit resource allocation, which business analysts from Geoffrey Moore to the McKinsey Group have long associated with startup success. The Scale Academy at NTT Research will support breakthrough products that originate in its own four labs and in others throughout NTT.

“Business start-ups have their own rhythms and incentives that quarterly metrics miss,” Indart said. “Scale Academy accommodates those realities, with SaltGrain providing a timely entrance amidst AI risk acceleration, gaps in network and identity controls and the growing need to protect data wherever it moves.”

Hashgraph has partnered with Halborn, a leading blockchain security firm, to strengthen security measures and protections across the Hedera ecosystem.

Trust is at the core of any system, and this partnership helps teams build with confidence from the start. Together, Hashgraph and Halborn are helping ensure that applications launching on the Hedera network are resilient from day one and continue to meet high standards as they grow.

“Security is fundamental to trust in any distributed system,” said Joe Blanchard, CIO and CSO at Hashgraph. “By working with Halborn, we are giving builders in the Hedera ecosystem access to specialized expertise that helps them identify and address risks early, and continue strengthening their systems over time.”

Halborn brings deep experience securing systems that operate under real-world pressure. The firm has conducted more than 2,500 security assessments, identified over 13,000 vulnerabilities, and helped protect more than $1 trillion in digital assets. Its team of more than 100 security practitioners supports over 800 clients, including financial institutions operating in highly regulated environments. This experience shapes a practical approach to security that focuses on how systems behave when things go wrong.

Also Read: Elliptic Integrates With Tempo, the Payments-First Blockchain

Halborn’s methodology focuses on identifying potential exploit paths across the full stack, with the goal to deliver clear, prioritized findings that teams can act on quickly, with validation processes in place to ensure accuracy and completeness. A key element of the partnership is enabling a more structured approach to security as projects evolve, including:

Pre-launch readiness, where early risks are identified and translated into clear go or no-go decisions

Targeted assessments, allowing teams to bring in security expertise as new components are introduced

Continuous engagement, where security becomes an ongoing part of development and operations

This model reflects how risk changes as systems grow more complex, integrate with new services, and attract greater usage. For the Hedera ecosystem, it means access to security support that aligns with how projects are actually built and deployed.

The partnership between Hashgraph and Halborn is ultimately focused on strengthening trust. By combining Hedera’s consensus-level security with Halborn’s ability to identify and address real-world threats, the Hedera ecosystem is better positioned to support applications that require a high level of assurance, from financial services to AI and beyond.

Primitive and MX Technologies, Inc. (MX) announced a strategic partnership to deploy AI-native growth agents for the financial services industry. The collaboration marks a shift in bank operations from manual data analysis to agentic execution, beginning with the launch of a Growth Agent designed to help banks and credit unions identify deposit opportunities, execute personalized campaigns, and streamline direct deposit switching.

The Growth Agent is built to solve one of the industry’s most pressing challenges: deposit acquisition and retention in a high-velocity market. It leverages MX’s customer analytics and data enrichment to identify deposit opportunities in real-time. These insights are then funneled into Primitive’s agentic operating system, which executes targeted campaigns and manages complex back-office workflows including automated direct deposit switching.

“The real challenge for banks hasn’t been a lack of data, but the difficulty of transforming that data into an enhanced, actionable asset at scale,” said Ryan Caldwell, founder and CEO of MX. “This partnership helps close the gap between customer data intelligence and measurable growth by expanding MX’s current framework where insights can trigger secure, governed actions. We’re enabling a level of personalized service and back-office efficiency that was previously difficult to achieve at scale, all while supporting the rigorous transparency and oversight that regulated institutions require.”

The partnership introduces a joint go-to-market offering that provides these growth agents directly to banks and credit unions. This collaboration leverages MX’s excellence in front-end consumer experiences and data insights alongside Primitive’s specialized agentic AI operating system for bank operations. By combining MX’s open banking connectivity with Primitive’s token optimization across LLM providers, financial institutions can now deploy sophisticated AI that is both cost-effective and operationally secure.

Key Growth Agent Capabilities:

The “Grow Agent” Framework: An industry-first collaboration that identifies external deposit opportunities using MX aggregated and consumer-permissioned data and executes automated recovery and retention strategies.

Three-Layer Agentic Architecture: Built on Primitive’s robust foundation featuring secure gateways, agent orchestration, and an Executive Agentic Capital Dashboard for real-time performance oversight.

Precision Data Enrichment: Leverages MX’s proprietary transaction categorization, life-stage inference, and propensity scoring to predict which customers are most likely to increase their deposit share.

Automated Campaign Executions: Streamlines the movement of funds through integrated direct deposit switching (via Atomic) and automated bill pay and automated account funding workflows.

Enterprise-Grade Governance: A native “human-in-the-loop” workflow that incorporates existing bank risk frameworks without requiring system changes, ensuring every agent stays compliant.

Secure MCP-Enabled Integration: Utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and MX’s consumer-permissioned third party data to ensure data remains secure within the financial institution while allowing agents to process real-time analytics.

Askey Computer Corp., a global leader in networking and communications manufacturing, and Bloxtel Inc., a pioneer in decentralized private 5G infrastructure, announced a strategic partnership to produce and scale the next generation of autonomous and decentralized 5G network hardware.

By leveraging Askey SCU5000 small cell, Bloxtel is integrating its AI-enabled, decentralized 5G core network into an all-in-one 5G access point. Unlike traditional solutions that rely on centralized cloud cores, the AP 201 brings the full 5G Core, including the Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) and User Plane Function (UPF), directly onto edge hardware through Bloxtel’s Open6GC architecture.

Edge-Native Architecture and AI-Driven Operations
By hosting core network functions directly at the edge, alongside the small cell, the AP 201 minimizes the need to route data through distant cloud environments. This architecture reduces backhaul dependency, simplifies deployment, and improves responsiveness for latency-sensitive applications such as industrial automation and autonomous systems.

The AP 201 features an on-device AI agent for local decision-making, combined with a distributed coordination layer that enables networks to operate reliably even in environments with limited or intermittent connectivity. It further advances an autonomous network model with integrated AI capabilities for monitoring, predictive maintenance, and self-healing. The system is powered by Bloxtel’s patented dSIM® technology, introducing an asymmetric authentication framework aligned with emerging 6G architectures, providing a strong foundation for secure and scalable network identity.

North.cloud, the AI-powered FinOps platform, announced the launch of Noros, an AI agent purpose-built for cloud financial management. Noros makes it easier than ever for organizations to understand and act on cloud spend. Questions that once took days to route across teams now take seconds. With the release of Noros, development, product, and finance teams can quickly optimize cloud spend, track goals, and surface insights they didn’t have before, without the overhead of manual FinOps.

“Cloud costs keep getting harder to manage, and the core problem isn’t missing data, it’s too much data without context,” said Matt Biringer, Co-Founder and CEO of North. “We spent three years watching this problem compound across hundreds of companies. Noros is what we built to fix it: an agent that can take the full complexity of a cloud environment, understand what it means for your business, and tell you what to do about it.”

An AI Agent Built for Every Seat at the Table

Noros was built from the ground up as a unified system. Where most cloud cost tools are reactive alerting after a spike has already happened Noros tracks the KPIs your business cares about, surfaces anomalies before they compound, and connects cloud data to business outcomes in plain language.

At the center of Noros is a cloud finance LLM trained on simulations from over 10 million optimization data points. It operates on raw cost and usage data, analyzing hundreds of columns across services, resources, usage types, pricing models, and time to surface how cost behavior actually emerges.

Also Read: Wildix Redefines Revenue Operations With the Launch of Revenue Intelligence

Noros allows teams to:

Get direct answers to hard questions: Ask why spend jumped 22% last month, which teams are driving cost increases, or whether you’re on track to hit your yearly target. Noros reasons across the full dataset and returns clear, contextual answers grounded in your actual environment. It maintains context across follow-ups, refining the explanation as you dig deeper rather than restarting the analysis.

Access automated reporting on a schedule: Noros generates analysis and reports in the visualization format your team needs. Set a cadence and updated reports are delivered weekly, monthly, or on a schedule of your choosing.

Enforce FinOps goals: Manual FinOps priorities get crowded out by urgent work. Noros keeps them on track by understanding your goals and project managing tasks from conception to completion.

Explore data interactively: Ask Noros to build a dashboard and it generates one in real time, tailored to what you’re investigating. Teams can surface exactly the views they need without relying on a data analyst or predefined reports, essentially building their own FinOps product agentically.

Built on Three Years of FinOps Data

Noros is a new product built within the North ecosystem. North has spent three years working with hundreds of engineering and finance teams across cloud providers, and the model at the center of Noros reflects that depth. The system doesn’t just answer queries. It improves within each domain over time as each specialist agent develops a sharper understanding of its area.
