While corporate adoption of generative AI has expanded exponentially over the past two years, technology leads face a critical operational barrier: moving artificial intelligence past isolated proof-of-concept pilots and into core production systems. Unpredictable integration expenses, data quality issues, and complex regulatory compliance hurdles routinely stall corporate transformation efforts.

To systematically address these deployment challenges, consulting giant PwC US and big-data analytics leader Palantir Technologies Inc. announced an expansion of their strategic alliance.

The expanded partnership combines Palantir’s flagship software platforms Palantir Foundry and Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) with PwC’s industry, systems engineering, and business transformation expertise. Initially targeting three core business priorities scaling enterprise AI into production, transforming mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and modernizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems the alliance bridges the gap between software capability and operational business outcomes.

Also Read: Deloitte Launches Open Model Engineering Practice to Accelerate Enterprise Agentic AI

Key Highlights of the Expansion

The primary technical and commercial breakthrough of the PwC-Palantir alliance is the introduction of specialized operational frameworks that deliver measurable business impact across complex corporate processes:

AI-Native Deals IT Platform for M&A: Introducing what the companies describe as the industry’s first AI-native deals platform powered by Palantir Foundry and AIP. The joint architecture is engineered to execute corporate transactions up to 50% faster while cutting one-time integration and separation costs by up to 45%.

AI-Enabled ERP Data Readiness: Pairing PwC’s deep SAP and enterprise software practice with Palantir AIP to clean, structure, and evaluate operational data prior to major ERP migrations, removing data quality as a primary implementation risk.

Scaled Engineering & Managed Services: Expanding joint implementation offerings across critical business units—including supply chain and logistics, cyber risk, customer lifecycle management, capital projects, and real estate.

Proven Track Record: Builds on demonstrated operational wins, including boosting supply chain efficiency by up to 10% for a global food manufacturer, elevating demand forecasting accuracy to 90–95% for a grocery retailer, and reducing out-of-service vehicles by 40% for a rental car fleet.

Transforming the IT Consulting, Systems Integration, and Enterprise AI Industry

The expanded collaboration between a global “Big Four” consulting firm and a core data platform provider accelerates fundamental structural shifts across the broader IT Consulting, Systems Integration, and Managed Services landscape.

The End of “Wrapper-Based” AI Consulting Services
During the initial wave of enterprise AI adoption, IT consultancies frequently built thin integration layers around public, third-party large language models (LLMs). However, corporate buyers are increasingly demanding deep operational ontology, data governance, and verified business outcomes.

The PwC-Palantir alliance signals a decisive transition toward deep platform co-engineering. Systems integrators are no longer evaluated solely on strategic advisory; they must possess the software engineering capability required to construct persistent enterprise ontologies, fine-tune domain-specific workflows, and govern data pipelines in real time.

Standardizing “Data Readiness First” in Complex ERP Modernizations
Historically, enterprise resource planning (ERP) migrations such as moving legacy environments to SAP S/4HANA were notoriously prone to budget overruns and timeline delays caused by bad historical data.

By embedding Palantir AIP directly into the pre-implementation phase, PwC establishes AI-driven data cleanup as an operational prerequisite. The systems integration sector will increasingly be forced to adopt automated data-remediation tools before executing platform migrations, dramatically lowering risk for global enterprise clients.

Broad Operational Impact on Enterprise Businesses

For executive leadership, Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) navigating complex digital transformations and strict operating budgets, leveraging joint consulting-and-platform AI architectures yields direct strategic advantages:

Unlocking Capital Efficiency in Corporate M&A Transactions
Slow IT separation and system integration delays will directly impact transaction value in mergers, acquisitions, or divestures. Using M&A team a deals platform that is AI-native will help the team to automate data mapping, identify duplicate software licenses, and streamline operations in a couple of months instead of years to get the full deal value synergy and shareholder returns.

Safeguarding Technology Capital (CapEx) Against Project Failure
Abandoning stalled AI pilots or experiencing delayed ERP implementations burns millions in capital expenditure. Combining Palantir’s robust data orchestration layer with PwC’s hands-on industry expertise ensures that enterprise AI projects are anchored directly to measurable key performance indicators (KPIs). Enterprise leads gain an auditable, governed path to operational transformation that turns experimental technology into a defensible driver of profit margin growth.

Tech Mahindra has unveiled its AWS Agentic Process Transformation (APT) Center of Excellence (CoE), first and foremost an undertaking to assist enterprises that want to move beyond the phase of experimenting with AI and adopt agentic AI in a measurable business operation manner. The CoE joins Tech Mahindra BPS’s process knowledge with AWS cloud and agentic AI to build, at least to a certain level, industry-wide solutions tailored for efficiency and productivity boost, cost reduction, decision-enhancing, and fast-tracking pilots to production. Through this venture, enterprises in telecommunications healthcare banking and financial services, retail, and manufacturing will find support. “Enterprises are moving quickly on AI, but many still struggle to scale beyond pilots and fragmented use cases,” said Birendra Sen, President – Business Process Services, Tech Mahindra.

Also Read: Elevate Digital Launches AI-Enabled Proprietary Platform to Accelerate Enterprise Transformation

“With the AWS APT CoE, we are bringing together Tech Mahindra BPS’ process expertise and AWS-native AI capabilities to help customers operationalize Agentic AI with stronger governance, faster execution, and measurable business impact.” The CoE has already demonstrated its potential through Collections Guru, an agentic AI-powered collections solution jointly developed by Tech Mahindra and AWS and deployed by UK-based financial services outsourcing provider Target Group. Built on AWS cloud and AI infrastructure, the solution delivered approximately 40% efficiency gains by autonomously optimizing collection strategies. Katie Pender, Chief Operating Officer, Target Group, said, “Since introducing the Collections Guru agent, we’re seeing encouraging early results, including anticipated efficiency gains of around 40% in the areas where it’s been rolled out. It’s been a valuable step in how we’re modernising our operations.” The launch strengthens Tech Mahindra’s AWS-focused AI services strategy and expands opportunities for enterprises seeking production-ready agentic AI transformation.

Financial and risk advisory solutions provider Kroll announced the launch of Kroll AI Automation Prioritization EXecution (APEX). Unveiled at Fal.Con 2026, the strategic capability is built on the CrowdStrike Falcon® platform to help organizations evaluate, quantify, and prioritize security investments across AI, automation, and hybrid models.

While global enterprise spending on artificial intelligence continues to accelerate with Gartner, Inc. forecasting worldwide AI expenditure to reach $2.59 trillion in 2026 many executive teams lack clear, data-driven frameworks to measure return on investment (ROI) for chief financial officers. Kroll APEX addresses this gap by establishing an evidence-based decision engine before software engineering or platform configuration begins.

Quantifying Cyber Investment and Operational Impact

Developed using CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI AgentWorks and Falcon Foundry, Kroll APEX evaluates specific cybersecurity use cases against client-specific operational telemetry and financial benchmarks. The framework pairs Kroll’s history across thousands of global cyber engagements with client data to estimate deployment effort, forecast financial returns, and identify where AI or automation is most appropriate.

Also Read: Movemint’s Embedded Personalization Platform Now Available to the Banking Sector

Key operational features of Kroll APEX include:

Pre-Engineering Value Assessment: Analyzes prospective cyber use cases to determine the optimal balance of AI, automation, or human oversight prior to technical deployment.

Unified CFO and CISO Insights: Delivers interactive reporting dashboards directly embedded within the CrowdStrike Falcon platform to align security strategy with financial goals.

Flexible Advisory Delivery: Deploys as a standalone strategic assessment or as part of a recurring advisory framework to adjust priorities as organizational risk profiles evolve.

Resource Optimization: Quantifies implementation effort and projected financial outcomes to minimize technology waste and accelerate executive decision-making.

“Kroll APEX changes the conversation from ‘Should we invest in AI?’ to ‘Where will AI, automation or human expertise deliver the greatest value?'” said Dave Burg, Global Group Head of Cyber and Data Resilience at Kroll. “With cyber risks mounting and spending accelerating, CFOs and CISOs are under growing pressure to bring financial discipline and operational insight together to make more informed cyber investment decisions. Boards are calling for greater clarity around these decisions, and Kroll provides the insight to prioritize initiatives based on measurable business outcomes rather than guesswork.”

Expanding the Strategic Kroll and CrowdStrike Ecosystem

The release of APEX marks a key milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Kroll and CrowdStrike. As a founding member of CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI AgentWorks Ecosystem and Project QuiltWorks, Kroll combines its risk advisory methodology with CrowdStrike’s AI-native architecture to help global organizations optimize security spending.

“Kroll is combining its deep advisory expertise with the power of Falcon to help customers turn AI ambition into measurable business outcomes,” said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike. “APEX is a great example of how our partners are building on CrowdStrike to drive innovation and deliver more value for customers.”

IDS Imaging Development Systems will showcase new camera platforms, technologies, and innovation projects for industrial image processing at VISION 2026 (Messe Stuttgart, October 6 to 8) at booth 8C60. Under the theme “Trends. Innovations. Future,” the trade fair appearance includes uEye camera platforms, event-based image processing, 3D vision systems, as well as AI and embedded vision technologies.

“Computer vision must do more today than just reliably capture images. What is crucial is how quickly and easily image processing moves from an idea to a concrete application and how well cameras, software, and AI functions can be integrated into existing systems. This is exactly what we align our product strategy with: IDS offers industrial cameras and computer vision components that users can flexibly combine into their own solutions. Instead of turnkey systems, we focus on modular hardware and software with high quality, long-term availability, technological standards, and comprehensive support right up to customer-specific customizations. Being close to customers and partners is essential: Requirements from real-world applications feed directly into our development process, helping to improve existing products, expand our portfolio, and bring innovations to industrial applications more quickly. At VISION 2026, we will demonstrate how IDS continues to advance machine vision, from traditional industrial cameras to computer vision components with integrated AI,” explains Jan Hartmann, Managing Partner at IDS.

Product and technology innovations for VISION 2026

IDS Imaging Development Systems has been developing industrial cameras and computer vision components for industrial and non-industrial applications for almost 30 years. The focus of this year’s trade fair presence is on new uEye vision camera platforms, which serve as the technological basis for upcoming 2D industrial camera series. They are designed for higher performance, simple integration, and long-term availability.

Also Read: Increasingly Dangerous Threats, Not More Alerts, Are the New SOC Challenge

Another focus area is event-based imaging. Together with Prophesee, IDS provides insight into further developments in the field of event-based cameras. The technology is particularly suitable for highly dynamic applications such as drones, AGVs, and autonomous systems, for example for object recognition, tracking, or safe navigation.

In the field of 3D vision, the company is presenting news regarding the 3D ToF camera Nion, including a new RGB set for synchronized image acquisition that merges color and depth data. In addition, IDS will showcase a new version of the Ensenso N Series active stereo vision system for precise and robust 3D data acquisition in robotics, bin picking, and metrology.

AI cameras and embedded vision systems are also part of the technology roadmap. IDS is expanding the uEye Live series of monitoring cameras with streaming and recording capabilities to include AI-enabled models, enabling AI-powered image processing on-the-edge. High-performance neural networks from our partner DENKweit perform tasks such as fast object and position detection, precise parcel handling and efficient code reading.

Insight into innovation projects

As a key innovation project, IDS is presenting the “GMSL Multi-Camera Vision System.” It demonstrates how intelligent embedded vision processes and combines images from multiple cameras with integrated ISPs and SoCs directly within the system, before transmitting the resulting data via a single GMSL cable. This reduces latency and data load in favor of a reliable basis for your own projects with distributed GMSL cameras,

especially in mobile applications.

Another project demonstrates active focus control fully integrated into the camera, where control and feedback occur directly via the software. The robust hardware is suitable for demanding applications in logistics, autonomous systems, and retail.

For vegetation analysis, IDS is showing an NDVI camera that combines multispectral imaging with high resolution color imaging. It makes the health status of plants visible and provides reliable NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) values, with which planning and resource allocation in agriculture can be specifically improved.

VISION Makeathon 2026

At the VISION Makeathon 2026, tangible prototypes are created from ideas: Interdisciplinary teams develop practical solutions for current image processing challenges within one day. IDS contributes as a project company with its own challenge, technology, and expert know-how.

VISION, the world’s leading trade fair for image processing, will take place October 6–8 at Messe Stuttgart.

Enterprise AI software delivery provider Digital.ai announced an expanded global partnership with international digital transformation consultancy knowmad mood. Building upon validated deployments across financial services, automotive, and manufacturing sectors, the updated agreement expands services, support, and reselling rights for Digital.ai’s portfolio including Application Lifecycle Management (TeamForge), Agile Planning at Scale (Agility), DevOps (Release and Deploy), and mobile app security solutions (Arxan Security) across knowmad mood’s global network.

The expanded go-to-market strategy targets key international growth zones across the DACH region, Southern Europe, LATAM, and APAC. The initiative follows knowmad mood’s recent corporate expansion, including its merger with German consultancy knowmad mood Germany (formerly Aservo).

Operationalizing Agentic AI Across Complex Delivery Environments

As enterprise engineering organizations transition past early AI pilots, corporate leaders face increasing pressure to verify whether automated developer tools yield measurable business results. Digital.ai categorizes this market shift as the “Fourth Wave” the industry-wide evolution toward deploying artificial intelligence as an active, agentic participant across the entire software development lifecycle rather than maintaining it as a isolated coding assistant.

To support this transition, Digital.ai offers flexible deployment models across on-premises, private cloud, and SaaS environments, allowing enterprises to integrate AI workflows into existing toolchains without vendor lock-in.

“AI value only shows up when it’s grounded in real delivery pipelines, which is why this partnership is about giving enterprises the governance and domain expertise to make that shift responsibly, not just generating more output,” said Digital.ai CEO, Derek Holt. “Enterprises are past the pilot phase and are actively looking for partners who can operationalize AI at scale, and this is Digital.ai and knowmad mood meeting that demand together.”

Combining Domain Governance with Scalable AI Infrastructure

The collaboration pairs knowmad mood’s specialized Centers of Excellence spanning Agile Governance, IT Service Management, Cloud Migration, and DevSecOps with Digital.ai’s agentic software pipeline tools. This combined architecture enables enterprise IT departments to modernize development processes while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and software security.

“Enterprise AI transformation in software development and design is as much about culture and operating model as it is about tooling, and knowmad mood’s role is bringing that local, domain-specific change management expertise to Digital.ai‘s technology. We’ve already seen this play out with joint customers across financial services, manufacturing and automotive, and this partnership lets us bring that same approach to more enterprises navigating the same shift,” said Rainer Heinold, CEO, knowmad mood Germany.

IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH is expanding its 3D portfolio with Nion, an industrial ToF camera featuring 1.2-megapixel resolution and integrated depth processing. It provides high-resolution and temporally stable depth information at 30 fps, even during rapid movements and in changing lighting conditions. This makes it suitable for applications such as logistics, automation and robotics, where precise 3D data is required at real-world process speeds.

The Nion captures moving objects with virtually no blurring. Its high resistance to stray light ensures reproducible measurement results both indoors and outdoors. The measuring range of 0.3 to 7.5 meters covers typical industrial scenarios. The robust IP67-rated housing allows it to be used in more demanding environments. Power over Ethernet (PoE) reduces installation effort and cabling.

Patrick Schick, Product Manager for 3D Vision and Imaging Software at IDS, says: “The Nion provides stable depth data even under variable lighting conditions. This provides a solid foundation for automation processes that rely on fast and accurate 3D data.”

Compared to standard ToF cameras on the market, the onsemi AR0130 depth sensor offers higher resolution, lower noise, more stable results in ambient light and improved motion stability. This enables the Nion to achieve high depth accuracy even when objects are moving quickly and under variable lighting conditions.

Thanks to its compact design, high measurement quality and excellent value for money, the Nion offers a straightforward introduction to 3D image processing. Companies can integrate the camera flexibly into existing systems and benefit from a cost-effective solution for reliable depth data. “In many cases, existing 2D processes can be retained and supplemented with depth data where necessary, if this aids decision making within the process,” emphasizes Patrick Schick.

The Nion 3D camera is now available in series production. Technical information is available in the IDS Webstore. You can also place orders and make individual enquiries there.
