Veeam® Software, a global leader in data resilience and data security posture management, announced the general availability of Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive. The new archival-class cloud tier provides enterprise organizations with a low-cost, fully managed storage destination designed for long-term data retention, regulatory compliance, and cold data governance.

With the increase in volume of corporate data, the information technology department has to incur more costs due to having old backup data, unstructured data, and redundant, obsolete, and trivial (ROT) data stored in primary storage which is performance-oriented. Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive brings closure to the cycle of backups through an automated policy-based destination to store inactive data in cheap cloud storage.

“Data powers organizations, and trusted AI requires trusted data,” said Rehan Jalil, President of Products and Technology at Veeam. “That means data must be protected, isolated, recoverable and stored in the right location — even when it is no longer actively used. Long-term retention of that data has become a cyber resilience, compliance and cost challenge all at once. Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive gives customers a secure, immutable, and cost-effective way to tier aging backups, cold and ROT data off premium storage while keeping a trusted copy on storage better fit for long-term retention.”

Accelerating Cost Optimization and Replacing Legacy Tape

Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive addresses critical operational bottlenecks associated with legacy tape systems and high-cost cloud storage tiers:

Retiring ROT Data Efficiently: Automated policies within Veeam Data Platform v13.1 allow organizations to offload cold backups and large unstructured data sets including Network-Attached Storage (NAS) archives—from expensive primary tiers to low-cost archival storage.

A Modern Alternative to Physical Tape: Eliminates the operational friction, transportation risks, offsite logistics delays, and physical handling overhead inherent to tape archives.

Immutable Cyber Resilience: Keeps archived backup data encrypted, logically air-gapped, and immutable to prevent unauthorized modification or deletion by ransomware threat actors.

Integrated Clean Restores: Working alongside Veeam Data Platform v13.1, the system scans data before long-term archiving to verify clean, malware-free restore points for future recovery.

Immediate Enterprise Availability

Veeam Data Cloud Vault Archive is generally available today alongside the release of Veeam Data Platform v13.1 through Veeam’s global network of authorized channel partners, resellers, distributors, and cloud marketplaces.

IT leaders, infrastructure architects, and cloud security executives can evaluate platform specifications or access deployment frameworks by visiting the official Veeam platform portal.

Grafana Labs, the open observability cloud provider, announced the general availability of six artificial intelligence capabilities launched during its inaugural AI Week. The releases expand Grafana Assistant into a comprehensive agentic operations layer designed to detect, investigate, and remediate production issues at the accelerated speed of modern AI development.

The recently launched set includes Grafana Assistant Investigations, Grafana Assistant Workspace, Grafana Assistant Automations, the Grafana Cloud Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, gcx, and Grafana Agent Observability. As a result, these technologies help transform the observability approach to a lifecycle one by implementing it at different stages, including after the deployment of the product.

“We used to treat observability as something you bolt on just before code reaches production,” said Mat Ryer, Senior Director of AI, Grafana Labs. “That’s changing. Now, Grafana Assistant can review your plans before you’ve written a line of code, add the instrumentation for you once you have, watch features as they land in production, and stay with you as you scale while dealing with the inevitable incidents that follow.”

Also Read: Atos Launches Sovereign Cloud Platform Engineered in the European Union

Bridging the Observability Gap Across the Software Lifecycle

Traditional observability has historically operated after code reaches production environments—requiring engineers to manually instrument services, construct dashboards, and monitor alerts. However, as AI coding tools dramatically increase deployment velocity, operational practices must evolve to prevent production bottlenecks.

According to Grafana Labs‘ 2026 Observability Survey, 92% of practitioners report seeing real value in AI detecting system anomalies, yet only 57% are currently implementing observability for their internal AI systems. Grafana’s new capabilities address this adoption gap by automating critical operational workflows:

Plan and Code Instrumentation: Using gcx—Grafana’s agentic CLI—and the Grafana Cloud MCP server, engineers can manage dashboards, data sources, and alert rules as code. The Assistant can automatically review architectural plans, open pull requests with necessary instrumentation, and verify telemetry arrival.

Automated Investigation and Remediation: When production anomalies occur, Grafana Assistant Investigations automatically generates diagnostic hypotheses, analyzes underlying telemetry data, and presents validated conclusions to engineers.

AI System Observability: Through Grafana Agent Observability, teams can monitor OpenTelemetry-native metrics across custom AI applications, tracking key performance signals such as latency, token expenditure, conversation histories, and model behavior.

“AI should allow you to move at 10x velocity, not produce incidents at 10x the rate,” Ryer said. “That’s why we’re releasing all these AI capabilities in a single week. Engineers shouldn’t have to wait for their tools to catch up to how quickly they’re already moving.”

Edge cloud platform Fastly has joined the Experian Agent Trust ecosystem to help enterprises verify AI agents and authorize autonomous transactions in real time at the network edge. As agentic commerce rapidly accelerates with automated systems purchasing items directly on behalf of consumers businesses require infrastructure that validates delegated authority without adding latency. Through Experian’s Human to Agent Binding framework, verified individuals are persistently connected to their acting AI agents; Fastly integrates these trust signals directly into existing APIs, payment workflows, and security controls without forcing companies to redesign their backend architectures. Highlighting the importance of establishing seamless verification frameworks, Kathleen Peters, Chief Innovation Officer at Experian, stated: “Agentic commerce represents one of the most significant shifts in digital commerce since the rise of mobile. As AI agents become active participants in online transactions, businesses need infrastructure that establishes trust without slowing down the customer experience.

Experian’s Human to Agent Binding is foundational to that trust, creating a persistent connection between verified people and the AI agents acting on their behalf. Fastly extends those trust decisions to the edge, helping organizations authorize transactions in milliseconds while creating secure, seamless experiences for consumers and businesses alike.” Reaffirming the commercial potential of shifting from defensive security to revenue-generating authorization, Jeff Alpen, Vice President of Fastly’s Partner Ecosystem, added: “As AI agents become an increasingly important channel for digital commerce, businesses need a way to distinguish trusted, authorized agents from everything else. Instead of treating every autonomous agent as something to block, Fastly enables businesses to verify who is behind the request, attach commercial value, and authorize transactions in real time. We help organizations turn trusted AI agents into a competitive advantage without requiring them to rearchitect their existing infrastructure.”

Tech Mahindra – the world leader in digital transformations and technology consulting – has collaborated with Cisco to provide an AI-powered Security Service Edge solution. The partnership is aimed at helping enterprise customers to simplify and reinforce their security infrastructures with the use of the new solution which comes Mainly timed after businesses are now relying more on work-from-home setups and artificial intelligence applications. This alliance of Tech Mahindra global managed services and systems integration expertise with Cisco’s unified Secure Access platform results in the integration of essential functions (including Secure Web Gateway CloudCASB Zero Trust Network Access FireFaaS DataLossPrevention) through a single cloud-native architecture. Emphasizing the operational necessity of transitioning away from legacy perimeter models, Saket Singh, SVP & Business Head – Digital Core Services at Tech Mahindra, stated: “As enterprises increasingly operate in hybrid and distributed environments, security must evolve from siloed controls to unified, cloud-native platforms. Fragmented tools, inconsistent user experiences, and rising threats are creating visibility and control gaps as applications are accessed from anywhere. Through our partnership with Cisco, we are combining advanced SSE capabilities with Tech Mahindra’s managed services expertise to simplify operations, strengthen zero-trust enforcement, and deliver consistent, AI-powered protection at scale.”

Underscoring the need to secure modern distributed architectures and burgeoning agentic systems, Raj Chopra, SVP & Chief Product Officer, Cisco Security Business Group, added: “Enterprises don’t need another tool to stitch into an already complex security stack. They need a simpler way to secure how work actually happens across users, devices, applications, clouds, and increasingly AI agents. Cisco Secure Access brings zero trust, identity context, and AI-powered protection into one cloud-delivered platform, helping teams enforce policy consistently while giving users seamless access from anywhere. Together with Tech Mahindra’s global managed services and integration expertise, we can help organizations modernize security operations, accelerate secure cloud and AI adoption, and move with confidence in the agentic era.” The strategic partnership expands Tech Mahindra’s managed security footprint while empowering organizations to secure complex data flows across multi-cloud environments reliably.

Atos, which is one of the leading companies that provide AI-driven digital transformation solutions worldwide, recently unveiled the Atos Sovereign Cloud a new application orchestration and modernization platform. It has been designed and developed in the European Union and is dedicated to public administration agencies, defense organizations, healthcare organizations, critical infrastructure operators, and others.

It combines enterprise-grade cloud computing with all necessary sovereign controls for data governance, operational independence, cyber resilience, and AI innovation. With the help of the solution, organizations will be able to control data, applications, and digital processes, speeding up transformation and increasing overall operational stability.

This development helps in implementing the general strategy of the Atos Group, which includes embedding mission-critical capabilities and security by design into its global portfolio of technologies.

Mitigating Risk in a Digital Ecosystem with a Lot of Uncertainty

We are becoming so reliant on digital ecosystems that the tightening of regulatory structures together with an increase in supply chain uncertainty have caused a surge of interest in sovereign IT solutions. The Gartner report predicts that over 50% of multinational companies will be implementing digital sovereignty strategies by the end of 2029, which is a big contrast with less than 10% of companies currently doing it.

To meet these trends, Atos Sovereign Cloud integrates Atos’s proven strengths in cloud transformation cybersecurity AI infrastructure, and managed operations into one sovereign-by-design offering.

Harness, the AI Software Delivery Platform company, unveiled the Harness AppSec Alliance. The new strategic partner ecosystem combines application security, API protection, and autonomous agent protection into a single platform allowing global channel partners to deliver continuous, end-to-end security across today’s modern software pipelines.

This release tackles a trend in how all software is written; albeit AI has Quite a bit shortened time-to-write and find issues, remediation cycles have not kept pace. Outdated security tools overwhelm engineering teams with business-irrelevant, false-positive results, creating risk for the organization due to existing un-patched exploits. 75% of security practitioners said shadow AI will eclipse shadow IT as a business risk, but few companies have processes in place to inventory or control AI agents.

“While the attack surface has expanded, the real crisis is no longer just discovering vulnerabilities. It is the speed at which organizations can respond to them. Modern AI systems can surface vulnerabilities far faster than security teams can triage, validate, and patch. This creates an operational bottleneck where organizations are flooded with findings but lack the capacity to remediate them, leaving them exposed despite having ‘visibility.'”

Also Read: Orca Security Expands AI Platform with Claude Compliance Integration

Unifying Application, API, and Agent Security on One Platform

Built on top of the Harness AI Software Delivery Platform, the AppSec Alliance provides system integrators, VARs, and MSPs with a complete security stack. With the help of this offering, partners can integrate, deliver, and manage the following functionalities, thus improving risk management across four key technical areas:

Shift-Left SAST & SCA: Provides AI-enabled SAST and SCA capabilities straight in CI/CD pipelines. Using reachability analysis and deduplication, this solution helps users to eliminate false positives and to prioritize high-risk and reachable risks.

Supply Chain Protection for Software & AI: Automatically creates Software Bills of Material (SBOMs) and AI Bills of Materials (AIBOMs). At the same time, it performs artifact provenance and attestation, which is needed to detect zero-day vulnerabilities fast.

Web Application & API Protection (WAAP): Integrates WAF, API discovery, bot protection, and runtime attack prevention capabilities in the native API control plane, which is tailored for the needs of microservices architecture.

AI & Autonomous Agent Security: Offers visibility into all active AI endpoints and agents, performs adversarial model testing, implements runtime firewall policies and collects session telemetry using Harness AgentTrace.

“The Harness AppSec Alliance closes that gap. We’re bringing partners application security technology, built into one platform, so they can walk into an existing account and pick up spend they were never able to compete for before.”

Solving Core Channel and Customer Bottlenecks

By integrating runtime protection, vulnerability prioritization, and automated patching into a single architecture, the AppSec Alliance resolves common operational gaps that legacy security stacks miss:

Closing Runtime Gaps: Traditional web application firewalls often miss multi-step, API-targeted agentic attack chains that unfold over time.

Eliminating Signal Overload: AI-driven triage filters out noise, replacing unmanageable alert volumes with actionable remediation paths.

Accelerating Zero-Day Audits: Replaces manual, multi-month open-source exposure audits with instantaneous cross-estate dependency mapping.

Compressing Patch Windows: Connects vulnerability identification directly to automated developer workflows, ensuring fixes are deployed before exploit windows open.

The Harness AppSec Alliance program is available immediately to qualified enterprise partners worldwide. Managed service providers, technology resellers, and security integrators can evaluate platform documentation, join the ecosystem, or request an operational demonstration by visiting the official Harness partner portal.

Orca Security, a pioneer in cloud and AI security solutions, announced a native integration with Claude’s Compliance API. The technological partnership extends Orca’s security capabilities to Claude Enterprise environments, giving corporate security teams centralized visibility, threat detection, and governance as artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded into modern software development and enterprise operations.

This is indicative of a change in approach by companies towards the development of products, where humans working as engineers, enterprise employees, and autonomous AI systems work together within a common software space. Based on the results published in the State of AI Security Report of 2026 by Orca Security, 56% of companies surveyed have deployed their AI agents in the live production environment.

“The future of software development isn’t just human. It’s human and AI working together,” said Gil Geron, CEO and co-founder of Orca Security. “As AI becomes another builder inside the enterprise, organizations need security that understands the complete picture, not isolated tools for every new technology. Orca gives security teams the context to understand risk across cloud, applications and AI in a single platform, helping organizations securely embrace the next generation of builders.”

Also Read: JumpCloud Launches Agentic IAM on Google Cloud to Govern Autonomous AI Identities

Contextual Risk Correlation Across Enterprise Cloud Workloads

Unlike standalone security tools that monitor AI tools in isolation, Orca Security correlates Claude Enterprise activity directly with broader cloud native environments. Powered by Orca’s patented agentless platform, the integration combines real-time AI telemetry with identity, application, and runtime context. This unified approach enables security administrators to isolate high-priority exposures and accelerate incident remediation.

The integration provides enterprise IT and security leads with granular operational capabilities:

Comprehensive Claude Enterprise Inventory: Automatically catalogs users, groups, roles, permissions, projects, and security configurations across connected Claude environments.

Context-Aware Risk Identification: Flags potential security vulnerabilities and compliance misconfigurations, including excessive user privileges, unmanaged shadow identities outside SSO/SCIM frameworks, and insecure retention settings.

Unified Governance Layer: Merges AI audit logging directly into existing cloud security workflows, eliminating the need to maintain separate security platforms.

Frictionless Setup and Data Privacy Architecture

Designed for rapid deployment, the integration operates via read-only Compliance API keys within Anthropic-hosted environments.
