As enterprises race to unlock AI business value, many face a fundamental data challenge: unstructured content is scattered across repositories, much of it has never been classified, and organizations lack the visibility and governance needed to make that data safely available to AI. In fact, a recent IBM study found that 77% of technology leaders say AI adoption is already outpacing their organization’s data governance capabilities.

With the addition of DryvIQ, Nasuni enables enterprises to discover and classify content across more than 40 cloud and on-premises repositories, detect sensitive data, and automatically enforce governance policies before information is exposed to AI. The combination gives organizations a governed foundation to manage, protect, and activate their unstructured data, helping fuel AI initiatives with high-quality data while supporting compliance and optimizing infrastructure costs.

More information can be found in the press release. Let me know if you’re interested in speaking with a Nasuni executive on today’s news, how this acquisition builds on Nasuni’s broader platform expansion and previous acquisition of Resilio, and the company’s vision for enterprise data and AI – I’m happy to set up a call.

There is an operational realignment happening in the world of cloud computing. In recent times, companies have been fast at adopting generative AI models on public cloud. But, when company IT leaders move these AI workloads from development pilots into full production, they run into severe operational issues: data sovereignty issues, high public cloud egress costs, and the need to comply with various regulations.

Deployment of such critical enterprise AI models like risk engines, code generators, and diagnostic systems in multi-tenant public clouds makes them vulnerable to security and cost issues. Companies working in highly regulated industries have certain data privacy regulations like GDPR and HIPAA that prohibit sending sensitive data to public cloud destinations. Moreover, predictable latency of AI and cost of computing have pushed CIOs to re-think their infrastructure plans, hence making it necessary for Private Cloud AI.

Solving this enterprise AI infrastructure dilemma, IT infrastructure services leader Kyndryl and global technology innovator Broadcom Inc. announced an expanded strategic alliance.

The partnership combines Kyndryl’s managed services expertise with Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and Private Cloud AI architecture, establishing a unified framework to build, manage, and scale secure private cloud AI environments for global enterprises.

Uniting VMware Cloud Foundation with Managed Infrastructure Expertise

The expanded alliance establishes a joint engineering model designed to accelerate private cloud AI adoption. By integrating Broadcom’s VMware Private Cloud AI technology with Kyndryl Bridge-Kyndryl’s AI-powered open integration management platform-the partnership provides enterprise clients with a turnkey private cloud environment tailored specifically for high-throughput AI workloads.

Key technical and operational pillars of the expanded alliance include:

Private Cloud AI Deployment Solution: The solution is a combination of VMware Cloud Foundation with AI software stacks and GPU acceleration, enabling the quick deployment of private AI clusters within a few days by an enterprise IT team.

Kyndryl Bridge Management: Allows private cloud AI infrastructure to be connected to the Kyndryl Bridge, which delivers real-time telemetry and workload orchestration.

Mainframe Stack Modernization: This will help organizations modernize legacy data centers, allowing for latency-free connections between proprietary databases of organizations and private AI models.

Specialized Workforce Enablement: Kyndryl is expanding its certified engineering workforce, training technical architects on Broadcom’s latest VMware Cloud Foundation and Private Cloud AI frameworks.

“Enterprise customers need an infrastructure strategy that balances rapid AI innovation with absolute data security and operational control,” stated Paul Savill, Global Practice Leader at Kyndryl.

Impact on the Cloud Industry

The strategic alliance between Kyndryl and Broadcom signals fundamental evolutionary developments across the broader Cloud landscape:

1. Formalizing the Rise of “Private Cloud AI”

Historically, public cloud hyperscalers dominated generative AI discussions due to their massive centralized GPU clusters. Cloud architects recognize that while public clouds excel at initial model training, running continuous real-time AI inference on private, on-premise infrastructure delivers superior data privacy, lower network latency, and predictable operational costs.

2. Re-Energizing the VMware Enterprise Ecosystem

Following Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware, enterprise customers sought clarity regarding the long-term roadmap for VMware Cloud Foundation. Co-developing Private Cloud AI solutions alongside Kyndryl-the world’s largest IT infrastructure provider-reaffirms VMware’s position as a core enterprise platform, proving that virtualized private cloud stacks are essential for next-generation AI workloads.

Overall Effects on Businesses Operating in the Sector

For enterprise CIOs, cloud architects, IT service providers, and technology vendors, the Kyndryl-Broadcom partnership offers direct operational advantages:

Eliminating AI Data Exfiltration Risks: Keeping sensitive financial and medical data inside private cloud perimeters guarantees compliance with global privacy regulations.

Stabilizing Long-Term IT Budgets: Shifting continuous AI inference from public cloud pay-per-token pricing to dedicated private cloud infrastructure drastically lowers long-term total cost of ownership.

Simplifying Hybrid Cloud Operations: Managing public cloud instances and private AI infrastructure through Kyndryl Bridge eliminates operational silos, reducing administrative burden for enterprise IT staff.

Conclusion

The expanded strategic alliance between Kyndryl and Broadcom marks an important milestone in the evolution of enterprise cloud computing. By pairing Broadcom’s VMware Cloud Foundation and Private Cloud AI technology with Kyndryl’s global managed services scale and Kyndryl Bridge automation platform, these two industry leaders are providing a practical blueprint for secure digital transformation. For the global cloud industry, this news confirms that the future of enterprise AI belongs to hybrid, private cloud architectures engineered for data trust, operational resilience, and predictable performance.

The new capabilities are designed as a unified experience, combining a repository built for agent-driven development with an AI review system that evaluates the potential risks associated with code changes. As AI agents accelerate code generation, organizations increasingly face challenges around storing, reviewing, approving, securing, and deploying larger volumes of code. Harness said legacy source code management platforms were largely designed around human developers and conventional pull-request workflows, creating limitations around repository performance, review backlogs, and permissions for autonomous agents.

The entire SDLC has to become autonomous, which means the repository, the review, the pipeline, and the governance must all work as one system.” The repository and AI review capabilities operate within Harness’s broader software delivery workflow, connecting commits, reviews, builds, testing, security, and deployment under a common policy engine. Reviews can also draw on the Harness SDLC Knowledge Graph, which incorporates enterprise development practices, policies, release information, and historical production issues to provide greater context when assessing changes.

Movemint announced the launch of its embedded personalization technology to the banking sector, giving financial institutions (FIs) the data-driven tools to instantly scale loans, deposits, and service offers. After years of serving credit unions, the platform now enables any FI to create campaigns that drive engagement by presenting personalized experiences to consumers.

Stan Viner, Financial Industry Veteran and Strategic Advisor, said, “Financial institutions are competing for customers alongside national banks and fintechs that have raised expectations for personalized experiences. Movemint brings capabilities that have traditionally been available only to much larger organizations, enabling banks to deliver timely, relevant financial offers and provide the relationship-focused service that sets them apart.”

Movemint’s market expansion comes as FIs look for additional ways to streamline the path from marketing to activation and deliver customized and timely experiences to consumers. With direct integration into existing internal and external systems, such as their core, digital banking or contact center, the platform automatically presents product offerings to customers that are tailored to their unique situation. It allows customers to redeem preapproved offers, open new loan and deposit accounts, and/or apply for loans in the channel they are already using, reducing friction, minimizing risk and improving conversion across channels.

Brian Bodell, CEO of Movemint, said, “Financial institutions are the lifeblood of their communities. They know their customers and businesses better than anyone and provide the best service and rates in their markets. Movemint has proven over the last 15 years that they can drive hundreds of millions of loan and deposit growth to FIs by seamlessly embedding personalized offers for both existing and prospective customers. As the statistics clearly illustrate, turning an FIs data and channels into revenue engines is critical as FIs are in fierce battles with neobanks, fintechs, and big banks.”

Movemint’s platform can meet surging bank demand for personalized digital experiences that boost engagement, deepen relationships, and drive measurable growth. Combining actionable intelligence, automation, and performance insights, Movemint delivers the right offer at the right time across every touchpoint while banks retain full control of the customer experience.

Bodell continued, “Financial institutions are increasingly competing with dealerships, online lenders, national banks and fintechs for the same customers. Movemint transforms a bank’s digital banking, branches, contact centers, and existing marketing channels into a coordinated growth engine, surfacing relevant financial products in real time.”

About Movemint

IDS Imaging Development Systems will showcase new camera platforms, technologies, and innovation projects for industrial image processing at VISION 2026 (Messe Stuttgart, October 6 to 8) at booth 8C60. Under the theme “Trends. Innovations. Future,” the trade fair appearance includes uEye camera platforms, event-based image processing, 3D vision systems, as well as AI and embedded vision technologies.

“Computer vision must do more today than just reliably capture images. What is crucial is how quickly and easily image processing moves from an idea to a concrete application and how well cameras, software, and AI functions can be integrated into existing systems. This is exactly what we align our product strategy with: IDS offers industrial cameras and computer vision components that users can flexibly combine into their own solutions. Instead of turnkey systems, we focus on modular hardware and software with high quality, long-term availability, technological standards, and comprehensive support right up to customer-specific customizations. Being close to customers and partners is essential: Requirements from real-world applications feed directly into our development process, helping to improve existing products, expand our portfolio, and bring innovations to industrial applications more quickly. At VISION 2026, we will demonstrate how IDS continues to advance machine vision, from traditional industrial cameras to computer vision components with integrated AI,” explains Jan Hartmann, Managing Partner at IDS.

Product and technology innovations for VISION 2026

IDS Imaging Development Systems has been developing industrial cameras and computer vision components for industrial and non-industrial applications for almost 30 years. The focus of this year’s trade fair presence is on new uEye vision camera platforms, which serve as the technological basis for upcoming 2D industrial camera series. They are designed for higher performance, simple integration, and long-term availability.

Also Read: Increasingly Dangerous Threats, Not More Alerts, Are the New SOC Challenge

Another focus area is event-based imaging. Together with Prophesee, IDS provides insight into further developments in the field of event-based cameras. The technology is particularly suitable for highly dynamic applications such as drones, AGVs, and autonomous systems, for example for object recognition, tracking, or safe navigation.

In the field of 3D vision, the company is presenting news regarding the 3D ToF camera Nion, including a new RGB set for synchronized image acquisition that merges color and depth data. In addition, IDS will showcase a new version of the Ensenso N Series active stereo vision system for precise and robust 3D data acquisition in robotics, bin picking, and metrology.

AI cameras and embedded vision systems are also part of the technology roadmap. IDS is expanding the uEye Live series of monitoring cameras with streaming and recording capabilities to include AI-enabled models, enabling AI-powered image processing on-the-edge. High-performance neural networks from our partner DENKweit perform tasks such as fast object and position detection, precise parcel handling and efficient code reading.

Insight into innovation projects

As a key innovation project, IDS is presenting the “GMSL Multi-Camera Vision System.” It demonstrates how intelligent embedded vision processes and combines images from multiple cameras with integrated ISPs and SoCs directly within the system, before transmitting the resulting data via a single GMSL cable. This reduces latency and data load in favor of a reliable basis for your own projects with distributed GMSL cameras,

especially in mobile applications.

Another project demonstrates active focus control fully integrated into the camera, where control and feedback occur directly via the software. The robust hardware is suitable for demanding applications in logistics, autonomous systems, and retail.

For vegetation analysis, IDS is showing an NDVI camera that combines multispectral imaging with high resolution color imaging. It makes the health status of plants visible and provides reliable NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) values, with which planning and resource allocation in agriculture can be specifically improved.

VISION Makeathon 2026

At the VISION Makeathon 2026, tangible prototypes are created from ideas: Interdisciplinary teams develop practical solutions for current image processing challenges within one day. IDS contributes as a project company with its own challenge, technology, and expert know-how.

As generative AI reshapes today’s businesses, IT executives at companies have a pressing problem: how to roll out enterprise AI search and intelligence without compromising any corporate data. Though tools such as Glean enable companies to discover their data from different sources, the security team is concerned about data exposure, permissions issues, and compliance violations.

Addressing this challenge, enterprise data security pioneer Seclore announced a strategic partnership with enterprise AI platform leader Glean. The integration unifies Glean’s enterprise context graph with Seclore’s ARMOR Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) and Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM) capabilities.

By writing persistent classifications and encryption controls directly onto source files, the joint solution ensures that sensitivity labels follow data wherever it travels—whether opened in native applications, shared externally, or surfaced through conversational AI.

The News: File-Level Persistent Encryption Meets Enterprise AI Search

The core technical achievement of the Seclore and Glean partnership is bridging enterprise-wide discovery with persistent, file-level execution. Traditionally, discovering sensitive data across thousands of SaaS applications and cloud repositories required months of standalone scanning projects.

The joint solution leverages Glean’s pre-indexed enterprise graph to bootstrap Seclore’s classification engine, drastically accelerating coverage:

Bootstrapped Contextual Discovery: Uses Glean’s existing search index across corporate systems (Microsoft 365, Slack, Google Drive, Jira) to immediately identify and classify sensitive data without running duplicate discovery scans.

File-Level Persistent Metadata: Seclore ARMOR writes sensitivity labels directly onto source files. These labels persist independently of any platform or network boundary, ensuring controls hold even when downloaded or emailed.

Actionable EDRM Remediation: Once sensitive data, intellectual property, or personally identifiable information (PII) is flagged, Seclore automatically applies Enterprise Digital Rights Management (EDRM)—enforcing granular permissions on who can view, edit, print, or forward the document.

Automated Regulatory Mapping: Continuous mapping aligns document classifications with global privacy and compliance frameworks, including GDPR, HIPAA, and India’s DPDP Act.

Transforming the Cybersecurity and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) Industry

The integration between Seclore and Glean signals a defining shift across the Cybersecurity, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Enterprise AI markets.

The End of “Visibility-Only” Security Dashboards
For years, DSPM tools focused almost exclusively on discovery generating static dashboards that highlighted where sensitive data lived. However, alerting security teams to misconfigured files without offering automated, file-level protection created massive operational backlogs.

The Seclore – Glean alliance accelerates the industry’s move toward actionable DSPM. Security software vendors are no longer evaluated simply on their ability to find data; they must offer automated, persistent remediation that locks down files at the point of discovery.

Unlocking “High-Value” Restricted Repositories for Enterprise AI
Until now, CISOs in regulated sectors frequently restricted AI platforms from indexing high-stakes repositories such as legal contracts, M&A room documentation, HR records, and core financial models due to fears of over-permissioned access.

By embedding persistent, file-level rights management directly into the search ecosystem, Seclore and Glean remove this adoption barrier. Organizations can safely grant enterprise AI assistants access to restricted business data, knowing that file-level permissions hold firm regardless of how data is surfaced.

Broad Operational Impact on Enterprise Businesses

For regulated enterprises particularly in financial services, healthcare, legal, and government—adopting context-aware, persistent security delivers clear operational advantages:

De-Risking AI Scaling in Regulated Sectors
Using enterprise AI without having a proper way of managing how data stays persistent will not only open your company up to very high penalties from the regulators but also could ruin your brand and reputation, which will happen if a sensitive asset gets into wrong hands by mistake. When you use a persistant file-level EDRM it makes sure that the data access policy is going with the user and the asset at all times. This way, the risk officers will no longer worry about the expansion of the generative AI programs on an enterprise level.

Removing Governance burden from IT Security Teams
Security operations personnel routinely spend hundreds of hours manually checking file permissions across different cloud storage services. With the help of automation tools for discovery classification persistent encryption and one context-aware engine, you will be saving internal IT talent of the administrative burden – they will be able to work on the more challenging parts of threat management and at the same time maintain full compliance with the regulations.

Artificial intelligence and physics technology firm SandboxAQ announced the launch of Switch, an open-source software solution designed to integrate autonomous AI agents into existing team collaboration platforms. Available immediately on GitHub at no cost under the Apache 2.0 license with Commons Clause, Switch enables organizations to establish shared digital workspaces across Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, and other enterprise messaging applications allowing human workers and AI agents to collaborate seamlessly within unified channels.

While developers continue to build highly capable AI agents, operationalizing these models across multi-disciplinary teams frequently requires custom integrations, manual context sharing, and fragmented tool switching. Switch eliminates this coordination friction by establishing model- and platform-agnostic environments. Utilizing Model Context Protocol (MCP), standard APIs, and flexible adapters, the software allows engineering teams to connect agents built on diverse frameworks such as OpenAI, Claude Code, Google ADK, and LangChain without locking business workflows into a single vendor ecosystem.

“Every team we talk to has capable agents trapped in separate tools, and a coordination tax eating the productivity those agents were supposed to deliver,” said Mohammed Aboul-Magd, General Manager, SandboxAQ. “Switch pulls agents into the channels where teams already work, where knowledge compounds instead of being relearned with every task. If you can message a colleague, you can put an agent to work.”

Preserving Context and Eliminating Cross-Tool Friction

Engineered to transform standard chat channels into dedicated operational rooms, Switch maintains project timelines, resource files, and conversational history directly within the workspace. As specialists or specialized agents join, leave, or hand off tasks, project context remains intact—preventing information resets and accelerating output across complex enterprise workflows.

Key technical capabilities of Switch include:

Open-Source Architecture: Rapid deployment models for Quick Start and Team editions, allowing enterprise IT departments to deploy without vendor lock-in.

Framework Interoperability: Native compatibility for custom agents created via Claude Code, Google ADK, LangChain, OpenAI, and other prominent development suites.

Unified Channel Workspace: Embeds autonomous agents directly into existing corporate messaging systems, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Discord.

Persistent Context Preservation: Retains historical channel context, ongoing documentation, and operational rules through every task hand-off.

Multi-Room Agent Scalability: Permits a single AI agent to operate simultaneously across multiple project channels while preserving unique context boundaries for each room.

Real-World Multi-Disciplinary Applications

SandboxAQ’s internal engineering, design, and marketing teams utilized Switch throughout its own software development lifecycle. By structuring workflows around dynamic task channels, cross-functional teams applied specialized agents across distinct enterprise scenarios:

Incident Response: Security and DevOps engineering teams pull specialized diagnostic agents into live incident channels, instantly providing models with real-time system timelines without manual briefings.

Marketing Campaign Execution: Content teams staff campaign rooms with dedicated research, copywriting, and design agents, building assets sequentially within a shared history.

Legal Drafting & Review: Legal departments integrate contract drafting and compliance audit agents that maintain full deal history, compressing contract review cycles.

Ecosystem Expansion via Flint AI

Switch forms a core component of Flint AI, SandboxAQ’s dedicated suite of enterprise AI agent products. The software extends the local agent testing capabilities offered by the free Flint CLI tool, providing a direct pathway from individual model evaluation to full-scale team deployment inside enterprise environments.
