IDS Imaging Development Systems will showcase new camera platforms, technologies, and innovation projects for industrial image processing at VISION 2026 (Messe Stuttgart, October 6 to 8) at booth 8C60. Under the theme “Trends. Innovations. Future,” the trade fair appearance includes uEye camera platforms, event-based image processing, 3D vision systems, as well as AI and embedded vision technologies.

“Computer vision must do more today than just reliably capture images. What is crucial is how quickly and easily image processing moves from an idea to a concrete application and how well cameras, software, and AI functions can be integrated into existing systems. This is exactly what we align our product strategy with: IDS offers industrial cameras and computer vision components that users can flexibly combine into their own solutions. Instead of turnkey systems, we focus on modular hardware and software with high quality, long-term availability, technological standards, and comprehensive support right up to customer-specific customizations. Being close to customers and partners is essential: Requirements from real-world applications feed directly into our development process, helping to improve existing products, expand our portfolio, and bring innovations to industrial applications more quickly. At VISION 2026, we will demonstrate how IDS continues to advance machine vision, from traditional industrial cameras to computer vision components with integrated AI,” explains Jan Hartmann, Managing Partner at IDS.

Product and technology innovations for VISION 2026

IDS Imaging Development Systems has been developing industrial cameras and computer vision components for industrial and non-industrial applications for almost 30 years. The focus of this year’s trade fair presence is on new uEye vision camera platforms, which serve as the technological basis for upcoming 2D industrial camera series. They are designed for higher performance, simple integration, and long-term availability.

Also Read: Increasingly Dangerous Threats, Not More Alerts, Are the New SOC Challenge

Another focus area is event-based imaging. Together with Prophesee, IDS provides insight into further developments in the field of event-based cameras. The technology is particularly suitable for highly dynamic applications such as drones, AGVs, and autonomous systems, for example for object recognition, tracking, or safe navigation.

In the field of 3D vision, the company is presenting news regarding the 3D ToF camera Nion, including a new RGB set for synchronized image acquisition that merges color and depth data. In addition, IDS will showcase a new version of the Ensenso N Series active stereo vision system for precise and robust 3D data acquisition in robotics, bin picking, and metrology.

AI cameras and embedded vision systems are also part of the technology roadmap. IDS is expanding the uEye Live series of monitoring cameras with streaming and recording capabilities to include AI-enabled models, enabling AI-powered image processing on-the-edge. High-performance neural networks from our partner DENKweit perform tasks such as fast object and position detection, precise parcel handling and efficient code reading.

Insight into innovation projects

As a key innovation project, IDS is presenting the “GMSL Multi-Camera Vision System.” It demonstrates how intelligent embedded vision processes and combines images from multiple cameras with integrated ISPs and SoCs directly within the system, before transmitting the resulting data via a single GMSL cable. This reduces latency and data load in favor of a reliable basis for your own projects with distributed GMSL cameras,

especially in mobile applications.

Another project demonstrates active focus control fully integrated into the camera, where control and feedback occur directly via the software. The robust hardware is suitable for demanding applications in logistics, autonomous systems, and retail.

For vegetation analysis, IDS is showing an NDVI camera that combines multispectral imaging with high resolution color imaging. It makes the health status of plants visible and provides reliable NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) values, with which planning and resource allocation in agriculture can be specifically improved.

VISION Makeathon 2026

At the VISION Makeathon 2026, tangible prototypes are created from ideas: Interdisciplinary teams develop practical solutions for current image processing challenges within one day. IDS contributes as a project company with its own challenge, technology, and expert know-how.

VISION, the world’s leading trade fair for image processing, will take place October 6–8 at Messe Stuttgart.

About IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH:

Enterprise AI software delivery provider Digital.ai announced an expanded global partnership with international digital transformation consultancy knowmad mood. Building upon validated deployments across financial services, automotive, and manufacturing sectors, the updated agreement expands services, support, and reselling rights for Digital.ai’s portfolio including Application Lifecycle Management (TeamForge), Agile Planning at Scale (Agility), DevOps (Release and Deploy), and mobile app security solutions (Arxan Security) across knowmad mood’s global network.

The expanded go-to-market strategy targets key international growth zones across the DACH region, Southern Europe, LATAM, and APAC. The initiative follows knowmad mood’s recent corporate expansion, including its merger with German consultancy knowmad mood Germany (formerly Aservo).

Operationalizing Agentic AI Across Complex Delivery Environments

As enterprise engineering organizations transition past early AI pilots, corporate leaders face increasing pressure to verify whether automated developer tools yield measurable business results. Digital.ai categorizes this market shift as the “Fourth Wave” the industry-wide evolution toward deploying artificial intelligence as an active, agentic participant across the entire software development lifecycle rather than maintaining it as a isolated coding assistant.

Also Read: Wrike Launches Conversational AI Agent Builder for Workflows

To support this transition, Digital.ai offers flexible deployment models across on-premises, private cloud, and SaaS environments, allowing enterprises to integrate AI workflows into existing toolchains without vendor lock-in.

“AI value only shows up when it’s grounded in real delivery pipelines, which is why this partnership is about giving enterprises the governance and domain expertise to make that shift responsibly, not just generating more output,” said Digital.ai CEO, Derek Holt. “Enterprises are past the pilot phase and are actively looking for partners who can operationalize AI at scale, and this is Digital.ai and knowmad mood meeting that demand together.”

Combining Domain Governance with Scalable AI Infrastructure

IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH is expanding its 3D portfolio with Nion, an industrial ToF camera featuring 1.2-megapixel resolution and integrated depth processing. It provides high-resolution and temporally stable depth information at 30 fps, even during rapid movements and in changing lighting conditions. This makes it suitable for applications such as logistics, automation and robotics, where precise 3D data is required at real-world process speeds.

The Nion captures moving objects with virtually no blurring. Its high resistance to stray light ensures reproducible measurement results both indoors and outdoors. The measuring range of 0.3 to 7.5 meters covers typical industrial scenarios. The robust IP67-rated housing allows it to be used in more demanding environments. Power over Ethernet (PoE) reduces installation effort and cabling.

Patrick Schick, Product Manager for 3D Vision and Imaging Software at IDS, says: “The Nion provides stable depth data even under variable lighting conditions. This provides a solid foundation for automation processes that rely on fast and accurate 3D data.”

Compared to standard ToF cameras on the market, the onsemi AR0130 depth sensor offers higher resolution, lower noise, more stable results in ambient light and improved motion stability. This enables the Nion to achieve high depth accuracy even when objects are moving quickly and under variable lighting conditions.

Thanks to its compact design, high measurement quality and excellent value for money, the Nion offers a straightforward introduction to 3D image processing. Companies can integrate the camera flexibly into existing systems and benefit from a cost-effective solution for reliable depth data. “In many cases, existing 2D processes can be retained and supplemented with depth data where necessary, if this aids decision making within the process,” emphasizes Patrick Schick.

The Nion 3D camera is now available in series production. Technical information is available in the IDS Webstore. You can also place orders and make individual enquiries there.

Many marketing teams already have AI agents scattered across their team. But often, most of that work happens in an isolated fashion (in someone’s individual chat window, for instance), making it invisible to the rest of the team and disconnected from the organizational flow of work.

AI Collaborators in Adobe Workfront aims to change that. This capability brings those same agents directly into a space where the work they do is visible, connected, repeatable, and reviewed like any other task. When fully integrated into governed workflows, AI Collaborators transform agents from side-channel experiments into a new engine for your marketing organization unlocking faster, higher-capacity, and fully accountable work.

How you put agents to work, under control

An AI Collaborator is a permissioned user in Workfront that pulls the context an agent needs from your projects, putting them to work and returning the finished result into Workfront for review. It gives teams a governed way to delegate work to AI with the right permissions, context, and an auditable trail of activity.

To get started, an AI Collaborator can be assigned work in the same way you’d assign it to a person. You can do this with any AI agent your team has built. Workfront automatically packages and hands the agent everything it needs, such as the task description, campaign brief, messaging rules, brand voice, and competitive analysis.

That is the difference that matters. The system supplies the context, so that the agent is more capable, and a quality response doesn’t ride on an individual knowing how to write a quality prompt. The output returns to Workfront, posted right to the task where it can be reviewed and approved. Nothing ships unseen, and every step is in the record. Permissions, audit trails, and human-in-the-loop approvals are built in from day one, so enterprises can operationalize and scale agentic work while staying in control.

Also Read: ImagineX Acquires Payteros to Strengthen Digital Transformation Capabilities

That structure is what turns scattered agents across your organization into compounding value for your whole team.

Permissioned: The agent operates with access tied to its role, nothing more.

Visible: Results post to Workfront instead of disappearing into a chat thread.

Repeatable: The same context and instructions apply every time, so your best strategist’s approach becomes the whole team’s approach.

Auditable: Every step is logged, and a human always signs off before anything ships.

What this looks like in real work.

The clearest way to understand AI Collaborators is to watch where they automate work before a person ever gets involved. Here are use cases being built by AI Collaborator beta customers.

On-brand copy creation: A stakeholder requests new marketing copy for a landing page. An AI Collaborator connected to the team’s copywriting agent — built in Microsoft Copilot Studio creates an on-brand draft, pulling the brief, brand guidelines, and messaging pillars straight from the project, along with the custom details supplied in the request. The copywriter now starts from a strong draft and spends their time on craft and judgment, not setup.

Localization at volume: An approved piece of content gets localized across markets automatically with a regional reviewer checking each version for nuance, brand fit, and compliance then signs off. The AI Collaborator handles the volume, and the human owns the judgment call. The entire path from source content to every approved local version stays governed and logged in one place.

From brief to ad variations: An AI Collaborator connected to a team’s Writer agent and transforms a campaign brief into multiple LinkedIn ad variations.

Brand compliance review: A content reviewer Collaborator checks every piece for brand compliance before it reaches approvers and when powered by Adobe Brand Intelligence, it enforces not just your written guidelines but how your brand actually shows up in practice, learning from real approvals, rejections, and comments as you produce at scale.

Adobe’s own global marketing team is building AI Collaborators to generate channel-specific image renditions the moment hero assets land in a project. It can draft pages in Adobe Experience Manager and coordinate event-promo handoffs across teams.

Workfront customers across the globe are also using a content reviewer Collaborator to check content for brand compliance before it reaches approvers. And the content reviewer Collaborator can go further still when powered by Adobe Brand Intelligence. Beyond evaluating content against the explicit rules in your brand guidelines, it draws on decision traces (real-world human approvals, rejections, and comments) to build a living model of your brand that captures how it actually shows up in practice, keeping you on track even while producing at massive scale.

Scaling agents with AI Collaborators.

These scenarios are just the starting point. As the models behind these agents get more capable, so does everything you can hand them. AI Collaborators let you put not one agent to work but many — specialized agents chained across a workflow, automatically passing inputs and outputs between people and agents. This means an entire sequence of work advances without someone shepherding each step. One task becomes ten, then a hundred, across your projects. And because it all runs in Workfront, you can see which agents are pulling their weight, which need tuning, and where you’re getting the most value so scaling agents means gaining capacity, not losing track of it.

Setting up your first collaborator takes just a few minutes and requires no heavy development. Name your collaborator, describe what it does, and connect it to any existing agent then assign it to a task and watch the work get done.

Customers often connect AI Collaborator to agents built on common platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude managed agents and Writer. In addition connection to any agent can be made via public API endpoint, MCP endpoint or an agent-to-agent connection.

Closing the loop: Agents into your work, and Workfront into your agents.

AI Collaborators bring agents into your work. Workfront MCP does the inverse. It lets your teams reach Workfront from the AI tools they already use (including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or ChatGPT) without leaving the assistant. Together they close the loop: work flows out to your agents and back in from them, in both directions, all governed, all anchored to one marketing system of record. That’s what human-agent work looks like when it’s fully wired. AI Collaborators are what make human-agent work real. They move agents out of side-channel experimentation and into the governed flow of work. That’s how AI becomes more than individual productivity. It becomes a new gear for your whole marketing organization — faster, higher-capacity, and accountable by design.

Conduent has appointed Anna Novoseletsky as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, strengthening its executive leadership as the company continues advancing its technology-driven business transformation. In her new role, Novoseletsky will oversee Conduent’s global legal, compliance, risk, and human resources functions while serving as a member of the executive leadership team.

Novoseletsky joins Conduent with extensive experience in corporate governance, global payments, regulatory affairs, and strategic transactions. Most recently, she served as Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Cantaloupe, where she led legal and compliance initiatives while supporting mergers and acquisitions. Before that, she spent more than a decade at Discover Financial Services, advising on global payments, product innovation, and regulatory matters across more than 20 countries.

The appointment comes as organizations operating in highly regulated industries face increasing complexity around AI adoption, data privacy, cybersecurity, and evolving compliance requirements.
