SoundHound AI has completed its acquisition of LivePerson, combining SoundHound’s proprietary voice and agentic AI technology with LivePerson’s enterprise digital messaging capabilities to create an end-to-end conversational AI platform spanning voice, web, mobile, SMS, and social channels. The completed transaction expands SoundHound’s customer base to include 25 of the Fortune 100 and strengthens its intellectual property portfolio to more than 750 patents. LivePerson’s platform will be integrated into OASYS, SoundHound’s self-learning Orchestrated Agent System, enabling enterprises to manage customer interactions through a unified AI engine designed to improve performance, containment, resolution times, and customer experiences. “This merger represents a defining moment for the new agentic AI era. As part of the transaction, SoundHound has retired LivePerson’s outstanding debt, creating a debt-free balance sheet to support growth and continued product development.
