Oracle Health has achieved a significant milestone by becoming a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Aligned Network, reinforcing its leadership in healthcare interoperability and data exchange. The designation demonstrates that Oracle Health’s platform meets CMS standards for secure, seamless sharing of patient data across healthcare systems.

Along with this milestone, Oracle Health has rolled out features that simplify patients’ access to their medical records and lessen work-related stress. One of the main breakthroughs is a digital check-in that allows patients to identify themselves and disclose their health records via QR code-based workflows. By doing this, patients won’t have to deal with paper forms anymore and their data will be automatically linked to electronic health record (EHR) systems, resulting in more efficient clinical procedures.

Oracle Health’s platform being connected to the CMS Aligned Network Ecosystem means it is capable of interacting with other aligned networks and Qualified Health Information Networks (QHIN). The purpose of implementing this interoperable framework is to facilitate the process of exchanging data between different parties to increase efficiency and ensure access to health data in real-time by all concerned.

Oracle Health’s system is in line with other government efforts aimed at advancing healthcare systems and achieving “the death of the clipboard,” which is an attempt by government agencies to move away from using manual techniques to accessing and exchanging data.

Also Read: Comcast Business Launches Innovation Lab to Accelerate Next-Gen Enterprise Solutions

Implications for the IT Industry

Oracle Health’s CMS-aligned status is a clear indication of a major turn in the IT sector towards interoperable, standards-based digital ecosystems. This is particularly the case in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare.

To that end, IT executives are realizing that interoperability is no longer an option for them if they seek only advantages over competitors; rather, it is becoming a must-have that defines who they are apart. Any systems designed going forward should be able to exchange data not only within themselves but also with other platforms, organizations, and even networks at large. This calls for modernization of APIs, cloud-based infrastructures, as well as secure identity features that will facilitate uninterrupted flow of information.

Moreover, this move brings to light complementing compliance-driven creations side-by-side innovations that can be scaled up only when they meet the regulatory norms. As laws such as CMS interoperability guidelines come into force, it is practically mandated that IT manufacturer’s products are adjusted according to such directives for them to successfully compete. At the same time, technological solutions providers will get ample chances to distance themselves among others through their compliance, security and scalability features.

Most important of all, Oracle Health’s method is exemplary of how digital identity and safe access technologies interplay in making possible the quest for operational interoperability. Checking one’s identity coded tightly with the processes can guarantee that at any point in time marked information is exchanged in a secure manner, which is the very thing that regulated industries keep top on their mind.

Business Impact and Strategic Value

This innovation presents several potential opportunities and threats for companies involved in the operation within the realms of health and the general IT industry.

Healthcare facilities may use the innovation to achieve higher operational efficiency and improve the experience of their customers by reducing expenses associated with manual operations and allowing for real-time access to critical data that will be used for more effective planning of the work processes.

In addition to such opportunities, IT vendors and providers of different services may use them for expanding their business by introducing software that allows for proper data integration, its management, and security issues related to working with sensitive data. Moreover, companies able to provide relevant products will be likely to enjoy the growth of their business associated with the changes in the healthcare industry.

Nevertheless, companies should face some challenges related to data management in order to take advantage of the opportunities described above.

Driving the Future of Connected Healthcare

Oracle Health’s achievement reflects a broader transformation in the IT and healthcare industries: the shift toward connected, patient-centric digital ecosystems. Interoperability is no longer optional—it is foundational to delivering efficient, high-quality services in a data-driven world.

For the IT industry and businesses alike, this milestone signals a future where seamless data exchange enables smarter decision-making, improved outcomes, and greater innovation. Organizations that embrace interoperable technologies and align with regulatory frameworks will be better positioned to thrive in this rapidly evolving landscape.

A key challenge the updates address is missed patient communication. For instance, there are some unanswered calls to healthcare providers, which can be seen as missed opportunities and poor satisfaction among patients. With the new update by Weave, all contacts will be properly coordinated to make sure that no opportunity is lost, as a result, building long-lasting patient relations.

New features also include more extensive automation across the voice, text, and emails, providing better response time and routing communications. The use of analytics will provide additional information about the activities and allow for making decisions based on data. Finally, new personalization options will allow reaching out to the patients at scale.

The AI technology is one of the most important elements of the new release, including smart replies, automated voicemail transcriptions, and even an AI-powered receptionist to help schedule appointments and other basic tasks. Other features include more call intelligence with the option of performing sentiment analysis and finding revenue opportunities.

With more than 40,000 healthcare facilities across the country and managing a billion patient interactions each year, Weave is in a perfect position to introduce innovations into the market and bring more benefits for providers and patients.

Geviti Health, a precision health platform focused on preventative care, has announced the launch of an AI-powered health intelligence system that delivers clinically validated insights into blood biomarkers at no cost.

The platform introduces what Geviti describes as a first-to-market free offering, using AI to accelerate multi-system health analysis while supporting clinical decision-making within a human-led care model. It addresses a growing gap in preventative healthcare, where cost and complexity continue to limit access to comprehensive testing and interpretation.

Geviti aggregates data from advanced diagnostics to identify patterns and surface actionable insights, enabling faster and more comprehensive analysis at scale.

Unlike traditional models that rely on static lab interpretation or generalized recommendations, Geviti combines AI-driven analysis with expert oversight to deliver individualized health blueprints alongside ongoing monitoring and guided patient support.

Also Read: Quantum Health Acquires CirrusMD for Physician-Led Virtual Care

“AI should not replace the human element in healthcare, it should enhance it,” said Nate Graville, founder of Geviti. “We use AI as a force multiplier, allowing our team to analyze significantly more data across biomarkers, genetics, and medical history with greater precision and speed, while still delivering personalized, human-led care.”

Graville emphasized that the platform prioritizes outcomes and patient-specific insights over generalized recommendations. “It’s not about generating more data. It’s about interpreting it correctly and turning it into meaningful action,” he said.

The launch comes amid increased adoption of AI in healthcare. While many companies are pursuing fully automated models, Geviti positions its approach as hybrid using AI to scale capabilities while keeping clinicians central to the process.

Ambience Healthcare has unveiled an ambitious multi-year roadmap aimed at redefining healthcare delivery through artificial intelligence, expanding far beyond its roots in clinical documentation. The announcement was made at the company’s inaugural Apex Summit held in Chicago, where it outlined plans to build a comprehensive intelligence platform spanning the entire care continuum.

Developed in partnership with leading academic medical centers, the roadmap introduces a broader vision that integrates AI across five key domains: clinical workflows, revenue integrity, patient engagement, care orchestration, and clinical research. Rather than refining existing systems, Ambience is positioning its platform as a foundational overhaul of how care is delivered and managed.

“Healthcare systems were built around the scarcity of human expertise,” said Nikhil Buduma. “With AI, we can extend that expertise across every patient and every setting. When a shift of this magnitude happens, you don’t optimize the system, you rebuild it.”

Over the past two years, the company has evolved from offering ambient documentation tools to delivering a broader intelligence platform. It now supports more than 200 medical subspecialties across outpatient, emergency, and inpatient settings, with strong adoption and measurable financial returns reported across enterprise deployments.

The plan points to the massive overhaul of the support system that is powered by real-time AI assistance in the clinic. Ambience tries to take the intelligence directly to the workflows for example, pre-visit preparation, inpatient care by embedding it in order to help with decision-making and decreasing administrative work at the point of care. It is also focused on achieving real-time accuracy for revenue integrity by bringing coding intelligence into patient encounters so as to avoid retrospective corrections.

The company unveiled some other brand-new ideas, for instance, the AI-driven patient engagement agent that is meant to keep continuous communication with patients even after clinical visits, and of course, the set of tools to enhance care coordination and simplify patient journeys.

Besides that, Ambience is boosting clinical research by taking advantage of structured data that come from everyday care, which makes it possible to get large-scale insights and speed up discovery. Most importantly, the company declared new pricing schemes based on performance and that are tightly linked with the achievement of measurable outcomes that demonstrate the company’s faith in the platform’s effectiveness both in terms of care quality and financial results.

Hippocratic AI announced two new Voice AI products that mark a turning point in how healthcare organizations deliver care: AI Front Door, a safe, always-available AI health agent that replaces fragmented call centers and digital front doors with a single, continuous patient relationship over multiple calls, delivering omni-topic care across all patient needs; and Nurse Co-Pilot, the first AI voice assistant built specifically for inpatient nurses, co-developed with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, OhioHealth, and Cleveland Clinic, designed to return 1-4 hours of nursing per shift.

Both products are powered by Hippocratic AI’s patented Polaris safety architecture — with 180+ million patient interactions, 99.90% correct clinical advice, 0.00% severe harm events, and validation from 7,500+ U.S.-licensed clinicians.

“For all of healthcare’s history, care has been designed around the assumption of scarcity,” said Munjal Shah, CEO and co-founder of Hippocratic AI. “AI Front Door and Nurse Co-Pilot change that equation. One gives every patient a personal health agent. The other gives every nurse an AI assistant. Together, they put healthcare leaders in control of a shift from scarcity to abundance.”

AI FRONT DOOR: ONE AGENT. EVERY NEED. EVERY CHANNEL.

The “digital front door” promised access but delivered phone trees, long hold times, and disconnected experiences. AI Front Door replaces this with a single intelligent agent that resolves needs in one continuous conversation instead of deflecting them.

Omni-topic. A patient can schedule an appointment, ask about lab results, address a billing issue, and follow up on care instructions, all in one conversation, no transfers, no restarts.

Relationship-based. Every interaction builds on the last. The AI remembers patient history, preferences, and prior conversations, shifting the experience from transactional to longitudinal. Less call center, more care.

Patient advocate. AI Front Door prepares patients before visits, follows up afterward, and closes care gaps in between – serving as a continuous member advocate, guiding members through benefits, preparing them for appointments, and keeping care plans on track.

Operates externally – It doesn’t stop at answering questions. The AI coordinates referrals, arranges transportation, contacts employers, and manages the logistics that typically fall through the cracks.

Omnichannel. Start on the phone, continue over text, finish in the app — one seamless conversation that never loses context.

Caregiver in the loop. Whether a patient has a caregiver or is one, AI Front Door keeps everyone connected — authorizations, status updates, and care discussions, all coordinated.

“Every time a patient calls, that’s a window of engagement, even if the initial call is just to reset a password. Most systems squander it — transfers, hold times, callbacks. AI Front Door doesn’t. It resolves the need right there, powered by 31 coordinated LLM models that can safely navigate any topic, from scheduling to clinical needs in a single conversation.” — Vishal Parikh, Chief Product Officer, Hippocratic AI.

AI Front Door is already being deployed with initial partners, including Wellspan and Cincinnati Children’s with more healthcare leaders coming on board this month.

NURSE CO-PILOT: THE FIRST AI BUILT FOR BEDSIDE NURSES, BY NURSES

While most healthcare AI has focused on physician documentation and administrative workflows, nurses, the largest segment of the clinical workforce, have seen little of that investment.

Nurse Co-Pilot is designed to take work away from nurses, not pile more on. Co-developed with nursing leaders at Cincinnati Children’s, OhioHealth, and Cleveland Clinic, it launches with four critical inpatient workflows:

Admission Education — Walks newly admitted patients through what to expect, giving nurses time back for hands-on care.

Patient Education — Delivers consistent education throughout the stay, from disease management to discharge preparation.

Caregiver Engagement — Prepares family members for life after discharge: medications, warning signs, follow-ups, daily routines. The education that prevents readmissions.

Medication Adherence — Walks patients through every medication so they leave informed and adherent.

Each workflow, if executed by a nurse, will take from 10-15 minutes. By deploying Nurse Co-Pilot, the result can be 1–4 hours returned per nurse, per shift, depending on usage back to direct patient care.

How it works: A nurse launches Nurse Co-Pilot directly from the EHR, selects the patient and workflow, and the AI calls the patient by phone — no app download required. After the call, a structured clinical summary and full transcript are written back to the EHR automatically. The nurse triggers every call, reviews every result, and maintains full clinical oversight. The AI is the tool; the nurse is the clinician.

“There’s never been enough time in a shift to reach every patient the way you want to,” said Amy McCarthy, Chief Nursing Officer, Hippocratic AI. “Nurse Co-Pilot gives nurses an AI assistant that ensures every patient gets the follow-up they need, while giving nurses time back for hands-on care.”

Nucleai, a leader in AI-powered spatial biology analytics, and Sirona Dx, a Technical CRO, specialized in spatial biology and single-cell services, announced a strategic partnership to deliver a fully integrated and scalable spatial proteomics solution for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Spatial proteomics platforms are generating increasingly rich and complex tissue data, yet a significant portion of that data’s biological value remains unrealized. Critical insights, including novel spatial biomarkers, treatment response signatures, and patient stratification patterns, are often under extracted due to sub-optimal assay development and fragmentation across assay development, imaging, and analytics. As multiplex imaging technologies advance, the gap between data generation and actionable insight continues to widen, leaving substantial value unrealized.

This partnership introduces a premium, fully integrated offering for pharma sponsors, delivered as a single engagement unified across the entire workflow. Sirona Dx leads assay design, development, and validation to ensure high-quality image generation, while Nucleai delivers AI-powered spatial analytics from feature extraction through biomarker discovery and biological interpretation. Together, the companies provide a seamless end-to-end solution in which highest quality tissue data is connected directly to actionable biological insight.

Agamon Health, an AI-powered healthcare technology company focused on automating operational workflows in oncology, announces commercial availability of OncoPrep, its new automated chart preparation capability. Initial results from early adopters, including Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute (OCSRI), show that OncoPrep enables medical assistants (MAs) to complete chart preparation workflows at least 34% faster, helping practices improve visit readiness and operational efficiency without adding staff.

Cancer care workflows are often fragmented across multiple health systems and require manual review of unstructured clinical data. As a result, critical pre-visit tasks are frequently delayed, missed, or completed too late to impact care. OncoPrep, from Agamon Health, uses agentic AI to ensure that critical oncology care steps, such as scheduling imaging, completing lab work, receiving genetic test results, and coordinating referrals, are completed on time, thereby ensuring visit readiness. Early results demonstrate:

Significantly improved chart preparation efficiency for medical assistants.

Fewer last-minute visit delays and cancellations.

Improved patient readiness for oncology visits.

More patients receive timely treatment.

Maxwell Thorsbakken, CEO at OCSRI, chimes in, “Ensuring patients are fully prepared for oncology visits has traditionally required significant manual effort across multiple systems. Agamon Health is helping our teams identify care gaps earlier, improve visit readiness, and streamline coordination. Early results are promising, and we believe this approach can drive meaningful improvements in both operational efficiency and patient experience.”

Agamon Health goes beyond simple workflow automation to ensure every patient is fully prepared for their visit. Its AI agents analyze unstructured clinical notes to identify care plans, track scheduling across systems, notify external providers when results are missing, alert oncologists to incomplete orders, and prioritize tasks requiring early chart preparation.

“AI agents are transforming how oncology teams operate behind the scenes,” states Michal Meiri, Agamon Health Co-Founder and CEO. “By ensuring that every step required for a patient visit is completed in advance, we’re helping providers deliver more timely, efficient, and coordinated care while reducing administrative workload.”

Agamon Health also plans to go live with OncoPrep at New York Cancer and Blood Specialists, another existing oncology customer. These deployments build on Agamon Health’s growing footprint across community oncology practices nationwide.

OncoPrep is part of the Agamon Health Coordinate Platform, which uses agentic AI to automate referral coordination, patient cohort identification, and other administrative oncology workflows, thereby reducing patient care delays, improving staff efficiency, and protecting revenue.

Matricis.ai, a healthcare technology company developing artificial intelligence solutions for gynecological imaging in a global women’s imaging market estimated at more than $5.2 billion, announced a clinical collaboration with SimonMed Imaging, one of the largest outpatient imaging providers in the United States. The partnership launches the first U.S. clinical pilot of EndomAI, Matricis.ai’s flagship AI platform designed to assist radiologists in detecting endometriosis from MRI scans. The pilot comes at a pivotal moment for the field, as recent ACOG clinical guidelines recognize MRI as a key tool in the endometriosis clinical pathway. The pilot also expands the company’s technological advantage built on one of the world’s largest proprietary annotated datasets in gynecological imaging.

Endometriosis is a condition that affects 1 in 10 women of reproductive age worldwide. It is a complex disease that is frequently underdiagnosed despite affecting millions of women. As a result, patients often experience long delays between the onset of symptoms and a confirmed diagnosis. Studies suggest that the average time from symptom onset to diagnosis ranges from 7-10 years, with nearly 42% of women reporting that their pain was initially dismissed as “normal.” Additionally, 30-50% of women with endometriosis experience fertility challenges, underscoring the need for earlier and more reliable detection.

EndomAI aims to address these diagnostic challenges by:

Generating standardized reporting templates and structured outputs,

Mapping the distribution and extent of lesions, aiding in surgery planning,

Providing decision support for follow-up care and specialist referrals.

In the initial pilot phase, patients with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis will undergo an MRI scan at select SimonMed centers. The study will evaluate the impact of AI-assisted reporting on diagnostic consistency, lesion detection, and radiologist confidence when communicating findings to referring OB/GYN physicians. All imaging interpretations will remain under the supervision of SimonMed’s board-certified radiologists.

“A decade-long diagnostic delay for endometriosis is unacceptable in modern medicine, and AI has the potential to change that,” said Raphaelle Taub, CEO and co-founder of Matricis.ai. “The latest ACOG guidelines, recognizing MRI as a key tool for characterizing endometriosis, mark an important turning point for the field. Our collaboration with SimonMed allows us to bring AI directly into clinical radiology workflows and accelerate the adoption of advanced imaging in women’s health.”

“March, Endometriosis Awareness Month, is an important reminder that 200 million of women still face years of uncertainty before receiving a diagnosis,” said Taub. “Improving the clarity and consistency of imaging interpretation can help clinicians identify the disease earlier and give patients a clearer role in treatment decisions.”

“Endometriosis is a highly variable disease that often takes up to a decade to diagnose,” said Dr. Sean Raj, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Innovation Officer of SimonMed. “With AI-supported MRI technologies like EndomAI, we hope to reduce that diagnostic time and increase confidence in image interpretation, all while providing referring physicians with clearer information for treatment planning.”

By partnering with one of the largest imaging networks in the United States, Matricis.ai aims to accelerate the clinical validation and deployment of AI tools designed to support radiologists and gynecologists in diagnosing complex gynecological diseases.

This clinical pilot represents a key milestone in the clinical validation and commercial deployment of our technology,” added Taub. “It validates our technology in one of the largest imaging networks in the United States and positions us to accelerate regulatory approval and commercial deployment.”
