“We’re thrilled to welcome Mercury Broadband to the VETRO family,” says Will Mitchell, CEO and Co-Founder at VETRO. “Our platform will help Mercury Broadband bring underserved communities online faster through our unique ability to digitize, operationalize and optimize the physical layer of fiber networks. Like Mercury Broadband, VETRO is passionate about bridging the digital divide and enabling better connectivity for all, and it is our pleasure to partner with such an innovative ISP working to do just that.”

Mercury Broadband was recently awarded $62M in Rural Digital Opportunity Fund grants by the FCC to bring fiber-optic broadband to 122,000 underserved communities across the midwest. The construction is expected to take 6 years, span over 12,000 miles, and deliver high-speed internet to thousands of customers. Utilizing VETRO FiberMap, the company will have a comprehensive digital inventory of their networks to easily identify and unlock future opportunities to better serve communities.
