The ET4x-HC series – Zebra’s first healthcare-grade tablets – are a first of a kind as they are built for healthcare from the inside out to help improve staff efficiency, care quality and the patient experience. These versatile tablets are ideal for caregivers in acute settings and patient homes, at bedside in patient rooms and in reception areas as check-in kiosks.

With advanced medical-grade housing, the ET4x-HC tablets can withstand constant disinfecting with some of the harshest medical cleaning solutions. An emergency alert button can also be programmed to call for additional help or launch an app to follow protocols in the event of a medical emergency. Their large, high-resolution 10-inch display makes them easy to read and enter text, allowing nurses to easily view and add notes to a patient’s electronic health record in addition to viewing the finest details of a photo or x-ray.

Equipped with the fastest wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi 6 and 5G) available, the ET4x-HC tablets provide support for CBRS which allows providers to set up their own private LTE network in larger campus-style environments, such as temporary pop-up clinics. Bluetooth 5.1 also enables caregivers to detect the location of the ET4x-HC tablets, making it easy to locate staff in the event of an emergency.

“At Zebra, we’re committed to delivering solutions that give organizations complete visibility to make smart, nimble decisions about what action to take now and how to plan for tomorrow,” said Julie Johnson, Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Computing at Zebra Technologies. “Our rugged tablets are dedicated to serve healthcare environments with their advanced medical-grade housing. These tablets are built to last, enabling healthcare teams to work faster and smarter while unleashing their potential.”
