DigitalOcean Holdings, Inc., the simplest scalable cloud, announced a strategic partnership with Hugging Face, the leading open-source and open science platform that helps users build, deploy and train machine learning (ML) models. The cornerstone of this new partnership will be the newly available 1-Click Models powered by Hugging Face HUGS (Hugging Face GenAI Services), allowing users to quickly and easily deploy the most popular third party models with the simplicity of DigitalOcean GPU Droplets, and optimal performance powered by NVIDIA H100, accelerated computing.
Currently, setting up AI/ML models in a cloud environment can be an arduous, complex process encompassing everything from machine configuration to endpoint security, requiring deep AI expertise and often resulting in a frustrating customer experience and less time spent on mission-critical tasks. The introduction of 1-Click Models provides a user-friendly solution that allows developers to get up and running within minutes. With our new partnership, Hugging Face users can now deploy the most popular models on DigitalOcean GPU Droplets directly from the DigitalOcean cloud console (conveniently linked from the Hugging Face model card). In just a matter of minutes, users can start building with a dedicated inference endpoint on DigitalOcean – leaving developers more time for mission-critical testing.

- Pre-configured Droplet setup, reducing the need for complex software/hardware configurations and complicated security setups.
- Optimized model performance on GPU Droplets, enabling DigitalOcean developers to build production AI applications in a more cost-effective way.
- Ongoing maintenance and support by Hugging Face, helping to ensure that customers have access to the latest optimizations and features whenever deploying a new supported model.
