Veeva Systems and Zifo announced a partnership to help biopharmaceutical companies modernize their quality control operations. By combining Veeva’s laboratory information management system (LIMS) with qcKen , Zifo’s data integration and management platform, companies can import data directly from any source document or another LIMS into Veeva LIMS. This integration will simplify master data configuration during LIMS implementation and site deployment, making it easier for companies to move beyond legacy quality control systems.
“We are excited to partner with Veeva to deliver powerful solutions to the life sciences industry,” said Kannan Jagamoorthy, general manager and head of Zifo North America. “Our collaboration will help customers accelerate adoption of Veeva LIMS to streamline operations.”

With Veeva, companies take a holistic approach to quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) to support GMP quality business processes with greater accuracy. Using Zifo’s qcKen will accelerate the creation of test and specification data, streamline implementation and on-premises deployments, and achieve faster ROI for new Veeva LIMS customers.
“Veeva LIMS is designed specifically for life sciences companies looking to improve their quality control operations, expand operations and accelerate lot release cycles,” said Ashley McMillan , senior director of LIMS strategy at Veeva. “Partnering with Zifo enables customers to implement and realize the benefits of Veeva LIMS much more quickly, accelerating quality control modernization initiatives.”
