PayPal and Canva Integration Turns Designs into Instant Checkout Experiences

PayPal

PayPal has launched a new integration with Canva. This feature lets users add payment options right into their designs. It makes the process from creating content to earning money easier. Now, Canva’s global community of over 265 million monthly users can use PayPal’s Payment Links. This helps creators, entrepreneurs, and small businesses accept payments without leaving Canva.

Creators have often depended on external sites or separate e-commerce tools for transactions. This process added friction for buyers. Now, with this integration, users can create payment links or QR codes. They can embed these into digital or printed designs. This allows customers to pay seamlessly through social media, messaging apps, email, or even in-person.

The launch arrives as social commerce grows. More transactions happen within content and online communities instead of traditional stores. By embedding payments into creative assets, PayPal and Canva want to help users take advantage of this shift. They aim to turn everyday content into revenue opportunities.

“Today’s entrepreneurs are no longer only building traditional storefronts—they are creating profitable businesses in real time through social content, online communities, and direct conversations,” said Taira Hall, Senior Vice President and Head of SMB Commercial at PayPal. “By pairing PayPal’s trusted global payment infrastructure with Canva’s creative workflow, we’re reducing the friction between inspiration and income and meeting them at point of need. With PayPal integrated directly in Canva, creators can move seamlessly from creating to getting paid.”

The feature includes several payment methods, like PayPal, Venmo, and Pay Later options, and extends globally to almost 200 markets and currencies. Besides, customers can set up individualized checkout pages featuring their products and prices, which are complemented by PayPal’s security and anti-fraud measures.

Integrating commerce right into the making of design, hi collaboration illustrates a bigger change in the way digital creators and small enterprises interact with customers – turning content into an immediate and expandable source of the revenue.
