66degrees Introduces Paradigm Platform to Accelerate Enterprise Modernization

66degrees

66degrees has unveiled Paradigm, a new AI-driven platform designed to help enterprises modernize legacy systems and transition to cloud-native environments more efficiently. The company says the platform can accelerate modernization initiatives by 50–70%, addressing one of the most persistent challenges organizations face when attempting to upgrade complex technology infrastructures.

Enterprises often rely on legacy systems spanning data platforms, mainframes, infrastructure, and analytics tools, making modernization both time-consuming and resource-intensive. Paradigm aims to close what 66degrees describes as the “modernization gap” by integrating artificial intelligence with expert engineering teams to streamline transformation projects and prepare organizations for the emerging agentic enterprise—a model where AI-driven systems play a central role in operations and decision-making.

At the core of the platform are AI-enabled Delivery Agents, which analyze existing enterprise environments and assist in modernizing systems across multiple layers of technology. The process begins with an assessment of a company’s technical assets and modernization goals. Paradigm then analyzes legacy code and infrastructure to understand underlying business processes before optimizing them for deployment in modern cloud environments, particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem.

The platform supports several key modernization areas. Its data capabilities consolidate fragmented datasets from traditional databases and warehouses before migrating them to cloud-native services such as BigQuery and Cloud SQL. Mainframe modernization tools interpret legacy code and convert it into modern cloud-compatible applications. For infrastructure upgrades, Paradigm automates migration pipelines and helps move workloads from virtualized environments to platforms such as Google Kubernetes Engine. Meanwhile, its analytics capabilities assist organizations transitioning from legacy business intelligence tools to cloud-based analytics platforms like Looker.

“Modernization is rarely a linear path, and the primary barrier for most enterprises is the sheer complexity of their starting point. We architected Paradigm to be modular by design to meet our clients exactly where they are in their journey. A common misconception is that you must finish modernizing your data estate before touching AI, but we believe you should do both simultaneously. Whether executing a full-scale legacy exit or a surgical modernization of a high-stakes mainframe, Paradigm provides the flexibility and velocity to start building the Agentic Enterprise today.” – Brian Gregory, CTO 66degrees

According to 66degrees, the platform combines its global engineering teams with AI-driven automation to streamline modernization initiatives, allowing organizations to reduce technical debt, manage migration risks, and unlock new data-driven capabilities more quickly.
