WiMi Is Researching Generative Adversarial Network-based Hologram Generation
WiMi Hologram Cloud Inc, a leading global Hologram Augmented Reality (“AR”) Technology provider, announced that its R&D team is working on the generative adversarial network (GAN)-based holographic image generation. It is going to apply generative adversarial networks to holographic image generation. GAN is a neural network model consisting of a generator and a discriminator for image generation through adversarial learning. The generator is used to generate the interference pattern of the hologram, while the discriminator is used to determine whether the generated hologram is realistic or not. By iteratively training the generator and the discriminator, more realistic and high-quality holograms can be obtained, providing new possibilities for the application of holograms.

Leveraging Digital Biomarkers to Generate Real-World Physiological and Behavioral Data in CNS Clinical Studies, Upcoming Webinar Hosted by Xtalks
Discover a groundbreaking webinar delving into an (artificial intelligence) AI-based, multi-domain digital biomarker platform that is currently being leveraged in neurology and neuropsychiatry clinical trials. To date, the lack of objective measures in central nervous system (CNS) clinical studies has resulted in less than 6% of drugs in this space making it to market. Many of the validated cognitive assessments are paper-based, introducing the potential for bias and limiting ethnic and geographic diversity in clinical studies. An additional challenge facing CNS studies is the higher-than-average patient drop-out rates, in large part due to the burden associated with attending clinical site visits. What if a team could capture objective physiological and behavioral study data from a diverse group of patients on an ongoing basis without them having to leave the comfort of their own homes? Could researchers escalate the discovery of the next breakthrough treatment by streamlining study timelines and costs?
Snowflake Accelerates How Users Build Next Generation Apps and Machine Learning Models in the Data Cloud
Snowflake, the Data Cloud company, announced at its Snowday 2023 event new advancements that make it easier for developers to build machine learning (ML) models and full-stack apps in the Data Cloud. Snowflake is enhancing its Python capabilities through Snowpark to boost productivity, increase collaboration, and ultimately speed up end-to-end AI and ML workflows. In addition, with support for containerized workloads and expanded DevOps capabilities, developers can now accelerate development and run apps — all within Snowflake’s secure and fully managed infrastructure. “The rise of generative AI has made organizations’ most valuable asset, their data, even more indispensable. Snowflake is making it easier for developers to put that data to work so they can build powerful end-to-end machine learning models and full-stack apps natively in the Data Cloud,” said Prasanna Krishnan, Senior Director of Product Management, Snowflake. “With Snowflake Marketplace as the first cross-cloud marketplace for data and apps in the industry, customers can quickly and securely productionize what they’ve built to global end users, unlocking increased monetization, discoverability, and usage.”
Healthcare business intelligence gathers and examines data from electronic health records, various medical software, remote patient monitoring devices, and even external sources beyond the healthcare domain. This powerful tool empowers healthcare providers to make well-informed decisions regarding the enhancement of services and the identification of growth prospects.
Business Intelligence (BI) has the potential to transform patient care, delivering benefits to both individuals and the healthcare sector. In our health-conscious era, people often use devices to monitor their health data, tracking metrics like heart rate, blood pressure, and sugar levels. This valuable data can be seamlessly shared with healthcare providers, offering a centralized repository for easy access. Healthcare business intelligence applications can then leverage this data to enhance patient monitoring, provide proactive interventions when necessary, and offer a more streamlined treatment process.
