Avaya has fortifies its “future of work” technology strategy by adopting the Gemini Enterprise as its foundational “agentic” AI solution and Google Workspace as its productivity platform. The decision has been announced at the firm’s HQ in Morristown, New Jersey, and represents an “important milestone” on its “innovation journey with its employees” as it looks to deliver greater value to its customers.
But by integrating Gemini Enterprise, Avaya will be able to consolidate its AI capabilities under a single intelligent interface that aims to link its diverse knowledge sources. With the innovation, Avaya will allow its workers to have faster access to insights and enable automated processes of routine tasks, thereby making informed decisions. The innovation reflects Avaya’s overall quest to optimize its internal efficiencies while delivering innovative communications solutions to its clients.
The integration of Google Workspace makes such an approach even more effective by equipping Avaya teams with a comprehensive and cloud-native set of tools that integrate AI capabilities right into the workflow. Avaya employees will be using Gmail, Google Doc, Google Drive, and Google Meet, all of which are powered by Gemini capabilities, to work together effectively and seamlessly. Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace together make it easier and simpler for Avaya to manage its tech stack.
