Capgemini

Capgemini announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Cloud4C, a global leader in automation-led managed services for hybrid and sovereign cloud environments. Cloud4C specializes in helping enterprises migrate, manage, and optimize their IT and data landscapes through its low-code, AI-ready platform and vertical-specific frameworks tailored to industry needs. The company is a global premium partner for SAP in S/4HANA Cloud and maintains strong alliances with leading hyperscalers and technology vendors. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Founded in 2014, Cloud4C has built a workforce of more than 1,600 professionals with deep expertise in platform-based services, AI operations, and automation. The company supports clients in shaping and executing cloud strategies through consulting, stack migration, and efficient lifecycle management, while also delivering hybrid and sovereign cloud solutions. Its end-to-end service portfolio includes hyper-automated AI-driven operations across infrastructure and applications, along with process automation, disaster recovery, data protection, business continuity, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks tailored for regulated industries.

This acquisition is set to strengthen Capgemini’s position in the rapidly expanding cloud managed services market. By integrating Cloud4C’s frameworks and automation capabilities, Capgemini aims to accelerate the development of industry-specific packaged solutions, intellectual property (IP), and generative AI-powered offerings for cloud management and seamless migrations. The deal is also expected to unlock immediate cross-selling opportunities, bringing Capgemini’s extensive expertise to Cloud4C’s client base, while offering Cloud4C clients access to Capgemini’s global scale.

The acquisition also enhances Capgemini’s leadership in SAP services, particularly by combining Syniti’s data expertise with Cloud4C’s strengths in SAP cloud management. This integration is expected to further solidify Capgemini’s position as a global leader in end-to-end SAP transformations.

“Cloud4C has an impressive track record in large-scale cloud transformations, thanks to its cutting-edge, highly automated AI platform and processes,” said Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini. “Its status as a global premium partner of RISE with SAP makes it a natural fit for Capgemini as we have been a strategic partner with SAP for decades. This acquisition will enable the Group to champion gen AI-powered cloud automation platforms, coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions that we know our clients want and need across the world.”

“Cloud4C has been a fast growth company with operations in 29 countries. From the beginning, our goal was to build a process-driven, highly automated cloud services platform focused on innovation, trust, and security. Joining a global leader like Capgemini represents an exciting next chapter, enabling us to scale our cloud migration and management frameworks more efficiently. I’m immensely proud of what our team has built,” said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Cloud4C. “We look forward to combining our strengths with those of Capgemini to meet the needs of its international client base.”
