NetApp, a data-centric, cloud-based software company, announced its renewed collaboration with Microsoft. NetApp offers Microsoft Azure users innovations that combine cloud storage solutions with Azure NetApp Files (ANF), NetApp BlueXP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP and now CloudOps solutions from Spot by NetApp, all based on cutting-edge technologies developed by NetApp and Microsoft.

ANF is a purpose-built public cloud storage solution designed for all enterprise file workloads, delivering the performance and data management capabilities of an on-premises environment. Even the most demanding applications are able to efficiently leverage data with some of the lowest latencies ever seen in the cloud, all within the fully secure Azure Virtual Network (VNET). ANF provides a seamless solution for integrating enterprise-grade data protection and disaster recovery architectures into the Azure ecosystem, ensuring their fit with public cloud workloads.

With Azure’s software-defined networking enhancements for ANF, customers can integrate their enterprise security architectures into the public cloud. ANF provides flexibility and scalability in the cloud by delivering real-time performance and capacity, allowing customers to remain flexible while meeting their business needs cost-effectively.
