SailPoint Expands Identity-Security Ecosystem With New Integrations to CrowdStrike Falcon Platform

SailPoint

SailPoint, a world leader in enterprise identity security, is proud to announce several strategic integrations between its SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and the renowned CrowdStrike Falcon Platform, aiming to provide improved visibility, automation, and rapid incident response related to identity security threats across platforms.

The enhanced interoperability links SailPoint’s identity governance prowess with essential components of the Falcon platform: Falcon® Next-Gen Identity Security, Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, and Falcon® Fusion SOAR, which has become a constituent module of CrowdStrike® Charlotte AI. This provides organizations with the ability to synthesize identity intelligence and threat intelligence.

Improved Security Analysis and Remediation Capabilities

Through these new capabilities, the Enterprise Security Teams can:

  • provide CrowdStrike identity risk insights from Falcon Next-Gen Identity Security to inform dynamic, risk-based access decisions inside SailPoint.
  • Feed SailPoint identity data into Falcon Next-Gen SIEM to enable correlation of identity activity and access patterns to real-time threat activity.
  • Make use of the Falcon Fusion SOAR solution in triggering SailPoint remediation actions that entail blocking accounts and revoking their permissions.

This technology enables the enrichment of security operations with identity insights and is likely to enhance the overall time to detect and respond to threats in hybrid IT environments.

Customer and Industry Leadership Perspectives

“Adding identity context to Security Operations Center workflows helps security teams understand not only what is happening, but who is involved and what access may be affected,” said Chandra Gnanasambandam, EVP of Product and CTO at SailPoint. “Through integrations with the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, SailPoint customers can connect identity and threat data to support faster, more informed security decisions.”

“Our customers value choice and interoperability,” said Chris Stewart, vice president, technology and cloud ecosystem alliances at CrowdStrike. “These integrations make it easy to connect SailPoint with the Falcon platform, bringing identity context into threat detection and response workflows so security teams can act with greater speed and confidence.”

“Securing the identities of people, devices and AI agents is a complex challenge for organizations. By bringing digital identity and threat intelligence together, we can help our clients unify their defenses and accelerate their responses to emerging threats,” said Rex Thexton, chief technology officer, Accenture Cybersecurity. “Together with CrowdStrike and SailPoint, we can deliver a solution that enhances security and drives business resilience.”
