NetWitness rolls out version 12.3 update, providing visibility across the enterprise

NetWitness

NetWitness is the world’s trusted provider of cybersecurity software and services. The company announced the release of version 12.3 of its award-winning NetWitness intelligent threat detection and response platform. This latest update makes it easier than ever for organizations to understand cyber threats through passive discovery, classification and ranking of all cyber assets, allowing companies to best prioritize potential risks.

The 12.3 update to NetWitness also gives enterprises greater visibility into how their distributed teams work, whether remotely or on-premises. The complete update includes:

  • NetWitness Insight – a new cloud analytics service that uses unsupervised machine learning to discover, classify and rank assets across customer environments.
  • Additional log integrations —increase visibility using tools such as FluentD, Jamf, Zscaler, Azure Kubernetes, Symantec Data Center Security, and VMware Unified Access Gateway.
  • Endpoint Enhancement – Provides a remote shell to the agent, enabling analysts to explore and extract more artifacts from the agent.
  • SASE Integration – Provides unparalleled visibility into encrypted traffic, remote users and cloud workloads.

The launch of version 12.3 expands NetWitness’ mission to provide comprehensive and in-depth visibility into the vast array of network assets distributed across on-premises and cloud environments. Billions of network sessions and millions of IP addresses need to be sifted through, and identifying potential threats and anomalies requires a monumental effort. However, NetWitness continues to change the way organizations prioritize and protect their assets.
