Cisco selects AppOmni to join its global pricing list under its SolutionsPlus program to facilitate provisioning for global customers and resellers.
AppOmni, the leader in SaaS security, announced a major partnership combining the company’s Zero Trust Posture Management (ZTPM) solution with Cisco’s Security Service Edge (SSE) technology suite to enable application-layer Zero Trust principles in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. The combined solution provides organizations with an end-to-end, device-to-application Zero Trust approach, dramatically improving security across complex SaaS installations with increased visibility and monitoring, from configurations to user behaviors. With a secure environment for all cloud-based SaaS applications, organizations can seamlessly implement Zero Trust principles to secure data from device to SaaS application.
“ We are honored to partner with Cisco to extend Zero Trust to SaaS for organizations around the world—Cisco is one of the largest companies in the world, and this partnership gives us a new level of access to a massive, global customer base,” said AppOmni Co-Founder and CTO Brian Soby. “ Just as Cisco Security Service Edge ensures users have an exceptional experience and protected access from any device, anywhere, AppOmni’s Zero Trust Posture Management capabilities close critical application gaps, such as misconfigurations in access controls, unchecked privileges, data leaks, and overlooked third-party integrations.”

AppOmni perfectly complements Cisco’s exceptional technology capabilities and market leadership, and the partnership brings AppOmni’s distinctive approach to SaaS security to Cisco customers and partners. As part of this groundbreaking partnership, AppOmni has also been selected to join a select group of independent software vendors (ISVs) on Cisco’s Global Price List (GPL) as part of Cisco’s SolutionsPlus program . This agreement extends the companies’ longstanding relationship—Cisco Investments supported the company in 2022 —and provides a range of benefits to channel partners and customers. While the companies’ technologies are highly complementary, the expansion of Cisco’s Zero Trust offering to comprehensive SaaS security and the inclusion of the GPL significantly simplify and accelerate the technology acquisition process for mutual customers. Additionally, Cisco’s value-added reseller (VAR) community will be able to offer AppOmni solutions to their customers as part of Cisco’s SolutionsPlus program.
“ This complex operating environment demands continuous improvement, and we believe this can only be achieved through strong collaboration—which is exactly what this partnership entails,” said Chris Sullivan, director of strategic partnerships at AppOmni. “ At AppOmni, we have worked hard to develop a unique approach to SaaS security and build a strong reputation for both technology leadership and customer service. Cisco Secure Access Service Edge leverages Zero Trust Network Access principles to enforce strict access controls based on user identity and context. AppOmni is a perfect complement to this strategy at the application layer, and this combination represents the first comprehensive application of Zero Trust principles to secure SaaS deployments.”
