International SaaS group, Wedia, has announced the company’s expansion into the Canadian market with a new office in Toronto, Canada.
Following its official opening, Monday, June 6th, the Toronto office will build the Canadian Wedia team from the ground up and feature newly hired, local staff. Wedia will be hiring Canadian-based talent, specifically in sales and local representation. New team members will be based out of Toronto and be responsible for pursuing and maintaining the growth of Wedia across Canada.
Since entering the DAM market in 2010, Wedia has grown into one of the top 10 leading international DAM vendors with offices in Paris, NYC, and Frankfurt. The new Toronto office will offer a critical step as the brand continues to expand into the Canadian market. Wedia Currently serves several established Canadian clients, including Hydro-Quebec, Decathlon, Michelin.
With this expansion into a new market, Wedia Group is strategically strengthening its position in the DAM market, hoping to provide global Canadian companies with a central hub to organize, share, and repurpose their digital assets and media files (photos, videos, 3D, 360° etc). Sébastien Bardoz, the VP of Sales and Operations North America, will lead the expansion and manage the transition into the new territory.
