Kurrent Appoints Patrick Ball as CRO

Event-native data platform innovator Kurrent announced the appointment of industry leader Patrick Ball as CRO to spearhead the company’s sales and GTM initiatives. Ball has comprehensive expertise and sales success in enterprise IT management software, business application software, SaaS and open source software (OSS). At Kurrent, he will lead the company’s go-to-market strategy and drive revenue growth across key enterprise segments including financial services, retail, manufacturing and AI/ML systems, focusing on expanding market reach, building strategic partnerships and scaling sales operations to accelerate customer acquisition.

Ball joins Kurrent with extensive sales leadership experience and a proven track record of scaling revenue organizations. As previous CRO of Crux he built the GTM function from the ground up, increased sales by 400%, closed over $75 million in bookings and formed global commercial and GTM strategic partnerships. At Privatar (now Informatica) he led all Global GTM Revenue teams and while at NextLabs rebuilt the GTM function, grew sales by over 150% and launched global GTM partnerships. While VP of Sales at Cloudera he helped the company grow from $10 million ARR to $250 million, scaling the sales organization by 5X. He has also served as the GTM advisor to Waypoint Group, Gamekeepr and Activeloop.
