Pison Technology Appoints Industry Experts to C-Suite, Prepares to Address New Markets

Pison Technology, the pioneers behind AI-powered neural biosensors for health, wellness and cognitive performance, announced the appointment of William B. Gormley, MD, MPH as chief medical officer (CMO), Cris Cairo as chief product officer (CPO), and John Joseph as chief revenue officer (CRO). These key leadership appointments are vital developments as Pison prepares to launch groundbreaking cognitive performance products for competitive athletes and professional knowledge workers, while it continues to refine its groundbreaking gesture capabilities for spatial computing.

Dr. Gormley is the director of neurosurgical innovation at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, co-director of Cushing Neurological Outcomes Center and an associate professor at Harvard Medical School. Throughout his career, Dr. Gormley has striven to drive innovation and change in the healthcare space through data, analytics, research, the development of new medical devices and the accessibility of digital health technologies. In this new role, Dr. Gormley will lead Pison’s research, engineering and product teams as they build solutions that help detect, diagnose and treat significant diseases.

As CPO, Cairo will prioritize technical feasibility and commercial viability as he develops product strategies, launches initiatives and spearheads Pison’s partnership with global suppliers and distributors. He will leverage his vast experience at Nokia, Ericsson, and Acorn to drive digital health, wellness and fitness innovation and future product development across diversified markets from competitive athletes to the healthcare industry.

Joseph has 25 years of product and marketing experience, successfully bringing category-creating technology products to market across a variety of areas including SaaS, AI, wearable sensors, IoT and healthcare. In senior leadership roles at Net Health, Endeca and InterSystems, Joseph expanded product and digital marketing capabilities, drove growth and launched numerous initiatives, including Net Health’s first AI-based analytics product. As CRO, Joseph will lead Pison’s go-to-market efforts, the development and execution of the sales and marketing strategy, and the launch and growth of the company’s revolutionary consumer and healthcare products.
