Oracle has introduced advanced AI agent capabilities within the Oracle Textura Payment Management Cloud Service, streamlining payment-related processes for subcontractors in the U.S. This embedded generative AI-powered assistant delivers real-time, personalized support, allowing users to quickly resolve common pay application inquiries and complete necessary tasks with greater efficiency.

As one of the most widely adopted construction payment solutions in the industry, Oracle Textura has facilitated over $1 trillion in payments to subcontractors. Since its inception in 2006, the platform has been used on more than 120,000 projects, benefiting over 200,000 subcontractors. Currently, organizations make approximately 11,500 monthly support calls to Textura, often seeking information on payment timelines and related queries.

The newly integrated AI capabilities significantly reduce the need for manual support by offering instant responses and guidance within the system. Instead of navigating multiple screens, subcontractors can simply ask the assistant questions such as, “What is the status of my payment?” The AI-powered assistant then provides a contextual response along with suggested next steps. For instance, if a payment is delayed due to a missing compliance document, the assistant not only identifies the issue but also presents the required form for immediate completion and submission.
