Highway 9 Networks Launches Private 5G Program

Highway 9 Networks

Highway 9 Networks announced the launch of its Mobile Cloud Alliance Program, an ecosystem of best-in-breed solutions providers that enable customers to rapidly leverage the business advantages of private 5G. Now, customers can easily integrate and manage their existing mobile and network infrastructure solutions, as well as mobile and cloud providers, abstracting away the complexity of integrating multiple components from different vendors.

The Mobile Cloud Alliance Program brings together a diverse range of partners to provide customers with integration and management capabilities to support the various systems in their network stack. These include mobile networks (i.e., end user devices, gateways, access points, and routers), enterprise IT infrastructure (i.e., security controls and devices, network infrastructure applications), cellular providers, and major cloud providers.

“Providing ubiquitous, secure, and high-performance mobile connectivity requires seamless integration and interoperability within enterprise networks,” said Allwyn Sequeira, founder and CEO, Highway 9 Networks. “Delivering this value is like operating a well-oiled machine, requiring partnerships with leading solutions in each core category of a robust mobile cloud. By delivering a unified experience, Highway 9 and its partners enable joint customers to focus on business outcomes while we abstract away the work involved in integrating with partner solutions.”

Mobile Cloud Alliance Program: Pillars

Highway 9 Networks offers an enterprise mobile cloud platform that simplifies network management and enhances operational efficiency. The core components include:

  • Mobile Networks: Integration with end user devices, gateways, access points, and routers ensures compatibility and optimal performance, facilitating smooth and secure data transmission while maintaining speed and reliability.
  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure: Incorporates existing enterprise security controls and policies, along with network infrastructure, to protect data integrity, prevent unauthorized access, and optimize network operations.
  • Cellular Providers: Partnerships with leading cellular providers guarantee reliable and high-speed mobile connectivity, extensive coverage, and sufficient capacity to handle the demands of enterprise operations.
  • Cloud Providers: Collaborations with major cloud providers enable seamless integration with cloud services, providing scalable computing resources, robust data management solutions, and support for hosting and deploying a wide range of services and applications.

The Mobile Cloud Alliance Program launch partners include industry-leading vendors such as Arista, AWS, Fortinet, Digi, Intel, Google, BEC by Billion, Zebra Technologies, MultiTech, Versa Networks, Semtech / Sierra Wireless, among others. These partners contribute their expertise and technologies to the ecosystem, ensuring that enterprises have access to reliable and high-performance mobile connectivity.

“We know that a truly unified wireless experience, comprised of Wi-Fi and private 5G, delivers a seamless user experience across the entire enterprise campus,” said Kumar Srikantan, Vice President and General Manager, Zero Trust Campus Networking at Arista. “We are working closely with Highway 9 Networks to provide customers with an integrated wireless network solution that provides ubiquitous coverage indoors and outdoors, delivering enhanced productivity, efficiency and innovation.”

“As manufacturing and warehousing are transformed through AI and automated operations, often called Industry 4.0, the wireless and wired network connectivity required for autonomous vehicles, drones, and robotic manufacturing are under increasing strain,” said Curt Ahart, Vice President of Business Development, Digi. “Digi has partnered with Highway 9 Networks to enhance network coverage with their Mobile Cloud across factory floors and outdoor areas, ensuring customers’ uninterrupted production output and efficiency through optimally connected AI and automation workloads.”

“Industry 4.0 is changing how factories operate and how everything gets built through heavy innovation in, and deployment of, automation and robotics,” said Grant Kyle, Director of Business Development, Semtech. “That makes highly resilient and flexible mobile connectivity critical to achieving these breakthroughs. Which is exactly why we partner with Highway 9 Networks – to provide our industrial customers with an easy to use and highly secure 5G private mobile network for their core wireless connectivity needs.”
