Alphawave Semi and Teledyne LeCroy collaborate on PCIe 7.0 signal generation and measurement

Alphawave

Alphawave Semi, the leader in high-speed connectivity for global technology infrastructure, and Teledyne LeCroy, the world leader in protocol test and measurement solutions, today announced that they will Collaborate on PCI Express  7.0 signal generation, transmission and measurement at “DesignCon”

This will push the cooperation between Alphawave Semi and Teledyne LeCroy to a high point, and the results will expand the scope of signal transmission and measurement technology. These results accelerate the deployment of PCIe  7.0 technology for data-intensive artificial intelligence workloads in hyperscale and data infrastructure applications.

Alphawave Semi and Teledyne LeCroy will jointly publish “Correlation Methodology for 128 GT/s Operation for PCIe Gen 7 DSP-Based IBIS- AMI Models) on February 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. (PST) at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

This technical presentation will introduce Alphawave Semi’s Input/Output Buffer Information Specification Algorithm Modeling Interface (IBIS-AMI). Predicting transmitter output performance of Alphawave Semi 128 Gbps serializer/deserializer (SerDes) using DSP (using Teledyne LeCroy’s WaveMaster ® 8650HD 65 GHz, 12-bit high-definition oscilloscope (HDO ® ) and PCIe 7.0 QualiPHY® compliance testing software), this interface is very important

Following the technical workshop presentations, attendees can attend a live demonstration at Booth 1249 in the DesignCon Exhibit Hall to witness live simulation and transmitter testing in compliance with the PCI-SIG PCIe  7.0 electrical and compliance test specification requirements.

This technical workshop presentation and demonstration demonstrates for the first time model and measurement correlations for 128 GT/s data transmission using a 65 GHz oscilloscope. The results will have a significant impact on supporting the development of PCIeⓇ 7.0 compliance plans.
