Eviden, an Atos Group business and a leader in digital transformation, cloud computing, big data, and security, announced the launch of four new BullSequana SH servers. These latest additions are powered by Intel® Xeon 6 processors, delivering a significant performance boost, advanced scale-up architecture, and cutting-edge eco-efficient technologies. Designed to meet the evolving needs of enterprises, cloud providers, and hyperscalers, these servers are built to handle critical applications and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads with confidence and efficiency.
Optimized for Performance and Real-Time Processing
While the widespread adoption of virtualization and cloud computing has favored scale-out deployments, they often fall short in addressing the demands of real-time business processing, big data, and analytics workloads, such as SAP HANA®. These applications require substantial computational power and low-latency data access, making a scale-up architecture the ideal choice. By integrating a large number of processors in close proximity with extensive memory capacity, Eviden’s BullSequana SH servers ensure seamless data processing while minimizing latency.
Scalable, Flexible, and Future-Ready Infrastructure
The new BullSequana SH range includes four complementary servers, offering computing capacities that scale from a single module to eight 2-socket server modules. With up to 128 terabytes of DDR5 memory and scalability from 2 to 32 processors in 2-CPU increments—enabled by Eviden’s proprietary Node Controller UNC5 interconnect technology—organizations can scale up their infrastructure effortlessly. This adaptability allows businesses to transition between models without over-allocating resources, ensuring optimal investment protection and application environment continuity.

Industry-Leading Cooling Innovation for Enhanced Efficiency
For the first time, Eviden’s BullSequana SH servers feature its patented Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technology as an optional cooling solution. This breakthrough innovation allows customers to choose the most suitable cooling method based on their specific operational needs. With heat dispersion efficiency reaching up to 97% and the ability to function at inlet water temperatures of up to 40°C, these servers significantly reduce energy consumption for heat management. Compared to traditional air-cooling systems, DLC technology cuts energy usage by at least 10%, leading to a proportional reduction in carbon emissions. Additionally, it doubles rack density and optimizes the performance of Intel Xeon 6 processors, enhancing the overall Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of data centers.
Proven Performance and Global Adoption
Designed and manufactured at Eviden’s flagship facility in Angers, France, the BullSequana SH range has already achieved a strong track record with over 200 successful deployments worldwide. Notably, the range set a new world record in performance during an SAP HANA Benchmark in June 2024, reinforcing its industry-leading capabilities.
