Identiv introduces intuitive IoT Product Advisor

Identiv

Identiv, Inc., a global leader in digital security and identification for the Internet of Things (IoT), presents the IoT Product Advisor. This user-friendly search function leads customers directly to the right IoT solution for their specific needs.

Identiv integrates digital IDs into every physical object. The IoT Product Advisormakes this journey easier for customers by helping them choose the ideal IoT technology for their needs without getting bogged down in technical details. The tool takes into account Identiv‘s standard IoT product range and includes popular solutions such as High-Frequency/Near-Field Communication (HF/NFC), Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Bluetooth (BLE) via Wiliot IoT Pixels. Thanks to this tool, customers can access the most important product information in a quick and user-friendly way, which is an important step when choosing the right IoT solution. You can browse the IoT product range using filters such as IC, Output Format, Pitch, Memory and Use Case.

“We aim to increase our customers’ knowledge of our ever-expanding IoT product range, which is a key part of our growth plan,” said Amir Khoshniyati, VP and GM of IoT at Identiv. “We look forward to the launch of our IoT Product Advisor, which will provide our customers with a practical and effective tool to help them match their project requirements with our state-of-the-art solutions.”

The IoT Product Advisor also includes two design improvements based on NXP’s next-generation UCODE 9 IC family. The UHF inlays ID-Gendipole A865 and ID-Sawblade A866 use the UCODE 9xe IC. They are designed for large-scale use, such as in industry, supply chain, inventory management, and returnable transport items (RTI) transportation. 128-bit Electronic Product Code (EPC) storage ensures high performance across a wide range of IoT use cases.

ID Gendipole A865 : The design ensures faster encoding and better reading and writing sensitivity. It is ideal for fast-paced industrial environments and works well on low-detuning materials such as plastic and cardboard.

ID-Sawblade A866 U9xe : The design offers optimized performance and a built-in brand identifier. It is ideal for marking a variety of complex materials that could cause problems with the reader, such as metal or liquid containers.

Customers have the option of equipping these UHF inlays with NXP’s UCODE 8, UCODE 9 or UCODE 9xe. This allows you to choose the performance and storage specifications that best meet your specific needs.
