Duo Health, a new type of value-based medical group for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), announced that Brie Farmer will be joining the organization as President and Chief Operating Officer. Farmer will lead in scaling and systematizing the organization’s operations as Duo continues its mission of providing holistic care and improved outcomes to its patients.
Prior to joining Duo Health, Farmer most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of WellBe Senior Medical, an in-home provider group caring for the frail, polychronic senior population, where she was instrumental in achieving operational excellence as the organization expanded to numerous markets and hundreds of thousands of lives under management.

Farmer also served as Senior Vice President of Customer Onboarding and Integration at R1 RCM, where she led the onboarding of significant Net Patient Service Revenue and oversaw the integration of acquired entities into the broader R1 portfolio.
“Brie brings deep experience in process optimization and leveraging technology to serve complex, senior patient populations like those we serve at Duo,” shared Raj Shrestha, Duo Health CEO. “Her leadership and track record of consistent value creation will support our continued growth and drive to expand our reach for more provider groups, patients and communities impacted by CKD.”
