Envision Healthcare Appointments Carrie Damon as CIO & Sean Gill as SVP

Envision Healthcare, a leading national medical group, announced the appointments of Carrie Damon as Chief Information Officer and Sean Gill as Senior Vice President of Health Plan Relations.

Damon is deeply passionate about digitalization and has a proven track record of advancing clinical and business systems. She joined Envision in January 2025.

Gill brings a broad foundation of knowledge and expertise in working with payers and in value-based care contracting. He joined Envision in December 2024.

Damon has more than 20 years of experience leading technology and transformation initiatives supporting the customer journey and growth across diverse industries, including healthcare, financial services and consumer products. She most recently served as the Global Chief Digital Officer at KPMG. Prior to that, she served as the Chief Information Officer at Centura Health where she focused on driving growth, efficiency and disruption for the leading Colorado health system. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Colorado College and her Master of Science in healthcare administration from Colorado State University.

Gill most recently served as Market President of Chicago for Essence Healthcare, leading the organization’s Medicare Advantage market expansion into Chicago. Previously, as the Regional Vice President of Payor Contracting and Strategy for Duly Health and Care, he led all value-based care contracting strategies. For more than a decade, Gill held various leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare, including Commercial Vice President and overseeing the value-based care and accountable care organization portfolio in the Central Region for Medicare, Commercial and Medicaid. He earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business and his Master of Business Administration in health sector management from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
