RLDatix , a leading global provider of connected healthcare operations software and services, announced the appointment of Dan Michelson as its new CEO, effective November 1, 2024. Mr. Michelson succeeds Jeff Surges, who has led the company through a period of transformational growth since 2019 and will continue to serve as an advisor and director.
Mr. Michelson brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience building and growing successful, industry-leading companies. During his ten years as CEO, Strata Decision Technology grew the company into an industry standard used by more than half of all hospitals and healthcare delivery systems in the United States. He led the company’s sale to Roper Technologies in 2015 and served as CEO for seven years. During his tenure, the company grew 30x in value while earning the “Best in KLAS” award for customer satisfaction for ten consecutive years and consistently being recognized as a top place to work. Prior to joining Strata, he served for more than a decade as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Allscripts, one of the founding companies in the electronic medical record (EMR) market. Most recently, Mr. Michelson co-founded InCommon Innovations, a workforce solutions incubator.
