The collaboration is intended to combine ZEISSs breakthroughs in optical technology with MECs successful practice, centric operational systems to provide greater support for independent eye care practices.
According to the arrangement, ZEISS will be the sole laboratory and service provider for optical dispensaries under the management of MEC, whereas Medical Eyeglass Center shall be the exclusive dispensary management organization in alignment with ZEISS for the participating practices. Jointly, the partnership is set to propel the development of optical care, improve patient experiences, and increase practice performance in the US.
