CrowdStrike Boosts Cybersecurity with AI for Falcon

CrowdStrike

New capability extends the Falcon platform’s AI-driven risk prioritization to network assets, eliminating the need for standalone scanners, agents or hardware; Falcon Exposure Management customers can assess up to 10% of their assets at no cost

CrowdStrike has unveiled cutting-edge enhancements to its CrowdStrike Falcon® Exposure Management, streamlining cybersecurity consolidation by replacing outdated vulnerability management tools and integrating AI-driven risk prioritization for network assets. With the introduction of the Network Vulnerability Assessment capability, security teams can now detect and address high-risk vulnerabilities in network devices—including routers, switches, and firewalls—in real time, without the need for additional scanners, agents, or hardware.

The CrowdStrike Falcon® cybersecurity platform’s single-agent architecture allows organizations to seamlessly transition from legacy vulnerability management solutions with a single click. By consolidating security operations within the Falcon platform, businesses can move beyond static CVSS-based risk models to an adversary-driven approach. As part of this initiative, Falcon Exposure Management customers receive complimentary scanning for up to 10% of their assets, providing an immediate introduction to the benefits of AI-powered exposure management.1

“Network scanning is a staple in virtually every security stack, and bringing it to the Falcon platform—and replacing legacy solutions—is one of our top customer demands,” said Elia Zaitsev, chief technology officer, CrowdStrike. “For too long, organizations have had to rely on hardware-dependent, difficult-to-deploy solutions with outdated risk models and static CVSS scores, requiring external threat feeds to even attempt prioritization. With the Falcon platform, everything is built in natively—the industry’s richest adversary intelligence, patented AI, and a lightweight agent adapted as a network scanner—allowing teams to extend adversary-based risk mitigation to network devices with a single click, meeting the demand for even greater consolidation on CrowdStrike.”

As cyber threats become more sophisticated, traditional vulnerability management solutions struggle to address evolving risks, often failing to detect how adversaries chain vulnerabilities in real-world attacks. According to the 2025 CrowdStrike Global Threat Report, attackers increasingly exploit multiple low and medium-severity vulnerabilities in sequence to escalate privileges and execute remote code, effectively bypassing conventional risk prioritization models. Legacy scanning tools lack the integrated threat intelligence and AI capabilities necessary to correlate vulnerabilities with actual attack techniques, forcing security teams to rely on complex, hardware-dependent systems that provide limited risk reduction.

Falcon Exposure Management takes a proactive stance by prioritizing vulnerabilities based on adversary activity and real-world attack paths, enabling security teams to mitigate risks before they lead to a breach. By understanding the tactics used to chain multiple vulnerabilities, organizations can reduce critical security gaps by up to 98%. The introduction of Network Vulnerability Assessment extends these capabilities to network-discovered assets, offering comprehensive risk visibility, prioritization, and automated remediation without the need for additional infrastructure. This advancement further enhances security consolidation, reducing both costs and operational complexity associated with managing multiple standalone tools.

Key features and benefits of the enhanced Falcon Exposure Management include:

  • Real-Time, Continuous Network Assessments: Eliminates dependence on outdated network scanning tools that leave security blind spots. The Falcon platform leverages its lightweight agent as a network scanner, delivering continuous, real-time assessments without additional setup, ensuring seamless visibility into managed and unmanaged network devices without network congestion.
  • AI-Driven Risk Prioritization: Utilizing patented ExPRT.AI technology, Falcon Exposure Management identifies the 5% of vulnerabilities responsible for 95% of risk.2 By analyzing adversary behavior, active exploits, and real-world threat intelligence, security teams can concentrate on the vulnerabilities that pose the highest threat.
  • Cross-Domain Exposure Management: Provides a unified view of exposures and attack paths across endpoints, cloud workloads, IT/IoT, and network assets, enabling teams to anticipate adversary behavior and strengthen high-risk areas of exposure.
  • Automated Remediation with Falcon Fusion SOAR: Unlike traditional scanning tools that burden teams with manual remediation efforts, Falcon Exposure Management integrates with Falcon Fusion SOAR to provide automated, real-time remediation, neutralizing risks before exploitation can occur.
  • Unified Platform Protection: By combining Falcon Exposure Management’s proactive security approach with the Falcon platform’s industry-leading threat prevention, detection, and response capabilities across endpoints, cloud, identity, and data, organizations gain a comprehensive cybersecurity solution. Additionally, the integration with Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon® Complete Next-Gen MDR ensures full-cycle threat protection across all areas of enterprise risk.

These latest advancements solidify CrowdStrike’s position as a leader in cybersecurity innovation, empowering organizations with AI-driven, adversary-focused exposure management to stay ahead of evolving threats and streamline security operations.
