LastPass

LastPass, a leader in password and identity management solutions, announced the appointment of Heather Brown as its first-ever Chief Customer Officer. As CCO, Heather will oversee the company’s customer success, customer support, and community teams, driving an integrated and exceptional customer experience across the organization.

Heather Brown brings over 25 years of experience partnering with enterprise, commercial, and high-growth small and mid-size businesses with a focus on creating and realizing measurable business value. With a strong commitment to operational excellence, Heather has established herself as a leader known for tackling challenges and building scalable processes that benefit both customers and the larger organization.

Before joining LastPass, Heather led the commercial sales and customer success teams at PagerDuty. Previously, she held global leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies including Accenture and Salesforce, defining strategy, methodologies, mergers and acquisitions and managing portfolios of businesses $500m+.

“We are thrilled to welcome Heather to LastPass,” said Karim Toubba, LastPass CEO. “Heather shares our leadership team’s values of continuous growth, learning, and improvement. Her strategic vision, extensive experience, and passion for customer success make her the ideal leader to lay new foundations for our customer-facing teams as we grow and innovate as a newly independent company.”

“I feel privileged to join this leadership team, which Karim has built with an incredibly high EQ as well as IQ. From our first interactions, it was clear this team shares a deep-seated passion for the product and a shared vision for the company’s future,” said Heather. “I’m likewise thrilled to serve within the security space, which is critically important for where we are in today’s environment. I look forward to collaborating with the LastPass team to drive continued success and make a meaningful impact on the company.”

Heather’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for LastPass, which recently completed its planned separation from parent company Go To and continues to strengthen its position as a newly independent entity and an enduring leader in the cybersecurity industry.
