Postman Announces Winners of Inaugural Postman API Network Awards

Postman

Postman, the world’s leading API Platform, announced the winners of its inaugural Postman API Network Awards. With over 30 million developers from more than 500,000 companies on the Postman API Platform, these awards recognize excellence in two categories based on the experience of developers across the globe: “The Top Five New APIs“ and “The Twenty-Five Best APIs.”

The Top Five New APIs category recognizes success in building an active community on the Postman API Network over the last year. The honorees are Brevo, Discord, Mastercard, Qualtrics, and HubSpot.

The Twenty-Five Best APIs category is based on usage and dedication to a great developer experience. The honorees include Salesforce, Meta, PayPal, Microsoft Graph, Notion, and Klaviyo.

The APIs selected for these categories were among the most used on the Postman API Network. Equally important, they showed consistent investment in improving developer experience measured by metrics such as the ratio of successful API calls and overall ease of using the API.

“Everything we do at Postman is about improving the developer experience around API collaboration,” said Abhinav Asthana, co-founder and CEO of Postman. “Building a great developer experience is hard, and these awards recognize the companies who have worked the hardest alongside us to build APIs that just work and are easy to learn. With over 100,000 APIs, the Postman API Network is the world’s largest public API hub, so these awards show what it takes to be the best in developers’ eyes.”

“It’s important to us that our customers get started as fast as possible with our APIs, and Postman’s helped make that happen,” said Philippe Ozil, Principal Developer Advocate at Salesforce. “By leveraging our workspace on the Postman API Network, developers can explore and test our API collections containing 1,000 request templates. Since joining the network, we’ve grown to a community of more than 100,000 developers who can get started in minutes.”

“The Postman API Network has been pivotal for us, especially in streamlining API documentation and outreach,” said Kimberly Strauch, Senior Product Manager at Klaviyo. “It’s made our APIs more accessible to external developers, simplifying onboarding and accelerating usage. In the last six months, we’ve seen our API traffic to our Postman public workspace more than double. This highlights the impact of collaborating with developers by meeting them where they are on the Postman API Platform.”
