More than ever before, businesses need to establish a viable online presence if they are to be competitive in the consumer marketplace—but doing so is sometimes easier said than done, with website optimization, online marketing, and e-commerce all requiring investments of time and company resources. In an effort to make the process easier and more cost-effective, particularly for Hispanic-owned businesses, the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce has launched a new service package that offers a robust set of tools at an affordable price.
“We have spoken with many small business owners who are frustrated by the difficulty that comes with launching a website and building an online presence—or else they are disillusioned because of experiences they have had working with unethical Web developers,” comments Tayde Aburto, founder of the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce. “We wanted to launch an online package that would be easy for business owners to afford, but also one that keeps them in complete control. We have built a website template that offers a cost-effective solution for business owners without a website, a website template that has been designed with the intention to convert as many visitors as possible as clients.”
DMWEBS’s website package provides small business owners with a plethora of Web features, including a unique domain, a full year of hosting, a three-page website, a WordPress blog, direct linking to social media profiles, responsive design, SEO features, and full control over website content. Aburto notes that the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce team will also build Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ pages for companies that do not currently have them and will provide them advice to manage their social profiles.
Additionally, this package ensures that small business owners are listed in the Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce directory, with professional profile and access to premium features—all available for $600 USD.
“This is an affordable solution for small businesses that do not currently have a website but wish to get online,” Aburto comments.

In tandem with this new website package, The Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce has also announced the “Collaborative Marketing” initiative, which Aburto describes as “an endeavor focused on bringing companies together to create an online presence greater than the sum of its parts. For small business owners who are unsure of how to promote their products online, or who simply lack the time to do so, membership in this initiative guarantees greater exposure, as different companies work to help one another out.”
