NTT DATA, a global leader in IT services and digital business, announced that it has been named a Leader in the “IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Cloud Professional Services 2024 Vendor Assessment ” report .
This report evaluated 24 cloud professional services providers on key measures of success in two main categories: capabilities and strategies. IDC recognized NTT DATA for the evolution of its cloud professional services over the past two years, citing its integrated capabilities to create a broader portfolio of IT and connectivity services, broader industry-focused consulting, and greater global scale.
IDC recognized NTT DATA for its broad range of digital offerings, including business consulting, data and intelligence, customer experience and design, network and application services, cybersecurity, and IT and cloud infrastructure. The report particularly highlights the evolution of NTT DATA’s cloud professional services, as it has expanded not only the breadth of its offerings, but also its tools and methods. Other strengths of the company include sales and distribution, and its customer retention strategies.

“One of NTT DATA’s strengths has been the evolution of its cloud professional services over the past two years, expanding not only its offerings, but also its tools and methods,” said Gard Little, research vice president at IDC. “Customers have noted NTT DATA’s high level of technical capabilities for cloud modernization and migration, as well as agile development. Likewise, they have appreciated the results NTT DATA can deliver in automating operational areas such as application updates.”
The IDC MarketScape says cloud customers should consider NTT DATA when looking for “a service provider that emphasizes trust and long-term customer relationships.” The report notes that while NTT DATA employs a strategy to deliver greater value based on regional needs, its hybrid culture and differentiation are based on its Japanese roots. It also highlights that NTT DATA’s focus on sustainability and social responsibility is deeply rooted in the company’s DNA, dating back to its founding in 1988.
