Armis Launches Developer Portal to Operationalize Asset Intelligence for Enterprises

Armis

Armis has introduced a new Developer Portal designed to help global organizations operationalize asset intelligence and integrate it directly into their existing technology environments. The portal is essentially a centralized, self, service knowledge base that opens up developers, customers, and partners the ways to build integrations and applications through the company’s APIs, thus converting static asset data into actionable insights that help automation, innovation, and cybersecurity workflows betters. The platform is designed to operate in tandem with Armis Centrix, which is the company’s cyber exposure management solution that leverages an AI, driven asset intelligence engine able to identify over 6. 5 billion assets worldwide in IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments. Provided through the newly launched portal and its API framework, enterprises are enabled to integrate live data about the assets, vulnerabilities, and risk factors straight into the security and operational systems. In this way, the security teams will no longer be limited only to monitoring, but they will go on and take a proactive security approach. Elucidating the matter, the company informed that the portal was designed to offer well, organized documentation, technical resources, and cooperation support tools that facilitate development teams in creating scalable integrations and thus, making workflows across enterprise security architectures more efficient.

“True security is only possible through a unified, open ecosystem where data is not just collected but operationalized,” said Nadir Izrael, CTO and Co-Founder at Armis. “The Armis Developer Portal provides more than just documentation; we are giving the developer and security community direct access to the world’s most robust asset intelligence. This empowers them to move beyond simple monitoring to an intelligent, proactive security posture.” The portal is built around API v3, the latest iteration of the company’s interface, which offers enhanced performance, usability, and security for integrating asset intelligence into external systems and applications. By leveraging these capabilities, developers can create advanced automation workflows, synchronize security data across platforms, and accelerate incident response through contextual asset intelligence. Industry partners are already leveraging the new environment to deepen integrations and enrich security insights. “Armis provides valuable data to our customers, and the quality of that data helps to enrich the data in our product,” said Dana Yanch, Director of Product Management at Elisity. “By leveraging the new Armis Developer Portal, we are able to deepen our technical integration. We’re also looking ahead to see what other APIs we can use to add even more value to our platform. The portal offers the streamlined documentation and resources we need to accelerate our roadmap and deliver enhanced security insights to joint customers at scale.” The launch is essentially a demonstration of Armis’ strategic tactic to create an open ecosystem revolving around its asset intelligence platform, which allows businesses to incorporate ongoing asset visibility and risk intelligence throughout their security layers as well as handle the increasing complexity of nowadays enterprise environments.
