BICS and NUSO Deepen Strategic Alliance to Boost Global Cloud Communications

BICS

International communications enabler BICS, part of Proximus Global, and US-based cloud communications provider NUSO have expanded their long-standing partnership to enhance global coverage and deliver more robust cloud communication services to enterprise customers, with the collaboration aimed at simplifying international deployments and strengthening resilience across markets. Under the renewed agreement, NUSO will serve as a key partner for US cloud number and voice termination services within BICS’ cloud communications portfolio, increasing flexibility and redundancy, while BICS will supply international cloud numbers to support NUSO’s expansion and enterprise client base, significantly accelerating the rollout of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Cloud Communications as a Service (CCaaS) platforms and helping customers navigate regulatory requirements more easily across geographies. Jorn Vercamert, CPO at Proximus Global, said: “This partnership will further support enterprise customers to expand globally with confidence and ease, combining NUSO’s robust US sales force and strong enterprise customer base with our well-established global connectivity and regulatory expertise.” The expanded collaboration leverages BICS’ deep expertise in international markets and NUSO’s strong North American presence to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions for multinational enterprises.

Building on over five years of collaboration, the new agreement also broadens cooperation across Infrastructure as a Service, enabling scalable cloud-based network capabilities without heavy upfront investment, and last-mile telephony support to ensure reliable local connectivity between network backbones and end customers. In addition to cloud number services, BICS will provide consultancy expertise and fraud intelligence services while supporting NUSO’s international Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) replacement strategy as the US-based SaaS company extends its footprint into Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Matt Siemens, CEO of NUSO, added: “This is a true partnership. As NUSO becomes BICS’ strategic partner for U.S. cloud telephony services, BICS is supporting our international expansion into new territories, including Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia. Together, we are strengthening the foundations for enterprises and global brands that rely on secure, redundant communications that can scale across borders.” The announcement arrives after a year of strengthened voice collaboration, with BICS supporting growing volumes of NUSO’s US voice traffic through routing and termination services.
