Cisco and Sharon AI, together with NVIDIA, have opened the very first Cisco Secure AI Factory in Australia. It is a one, of, a, kind, high, performance AI infrastructure, completely sovereign, designed to keep all data processing within the country while at the same time increasing the enterprise and government adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced computing. This move is in line with the nations new National AI Plan and continues the secure, responsible AI innovation along the Asia, Pacific region. The lab features 1, 024 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs carrying Ciscos UCS servers, security and networking technologies, and Nexus Hyperfabric under the single management control plane Nexus One, with the cooperation of VAST Datas scalable storage systems and NEXTDCs highly secure Australian data centers. At the same time, Sharon AI provides customized customer solutions and sandbox environments for proof, of, concept experimentation. “AI innovation is moving faster than ever, and Cisco is delivering the critical infrastructure Australia needs to move fast and adopt AI safely and securely.
