Fiddler Secures $30M Series C to Power the AI Control Plane and Enterprise Governance

Fiddler

Fiddler AI, a Palo Alto, based enterprise AI observability and security platform, has revealed a $30 million Series C funding round led by RPS Ventures. The round also saw backing from the companys existing investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Lux Capital, Insight Partners, Capgemini Ventures, Dallas VC, Dentsu Ventures, and Mozilla Ventures as well as new strategic investors LG Technology Ventures, Benhamou Global Ventures, and LDV Partners, transforming the total capital raised by the firm to $100 million with plans to become the first neutral control plane for compound AI systems that will help enterprises running autonomous agents for their critical workflows. The newly acquired funds will speed up the launch of the Fiddler Control Plane offering standardized telemetry, trustworthy evaluation, uninterrupted monitoring, enforceable policy, and audit, ready governance throughout the AI lifecycle, and going to the point raised by Timothy Murphy, Partner at RPS Ventures, a major gap in enterprise governance: Companies are deploying agents that interact with customers and make consequential decisions, but they’re monitoring them with fragmented point solutions built for simpler, deterministic use cases… Fiddler is the first company to deliver a true control plane that provides complete visibility into what agents are doing, contextual intelligence about why they’re behaving that way, and real-time controls to enforce policy and prevent catastrophic failures,” a category-defining capability that has driven rapid enterprise adoption, particularly in regulated industries where oversight is non-negotiable, helping Fiddler grow revenue more than four-fold over the past 18 months and achieve AWS Pattern Partners status and recognition by CB Insights.

Founded in 2018 with deep expertise in root cause analysis, governance, and enterprise scale, Fiddler’s “batteries-included” platform provides unified observability, protection, and governance across AI agents, generative AI, and predictive models, enabling businesses to diagnose, explain, and govern agentic decisions in real time, with proprietary trust models delivering accuracy, safety, and compliance out of the box, and flexibility for secure cloud and virtual private deployment; as co-founder and CEO Krishna Gade said, “Every major platform shift requires new infrastructure… As they deploy autonomous agents, they need a control plane,” and Nielsen CEO Karthik Rao added, “Fiddler has delivered unified observability, protection, and governance across agents and predictive models making it fundamental to our AI strategy,” with the funding set to further expand Fiddler’s presence across regulated sectors like healthcare, financial services, and insurance and deepen integrations across the broader AI ecosystem.
