Firefly AI announced the debut of its new Cloud Resilience Posture Management (CRPM) platform a proactive, automation-driven solution designed to help enterprises survive cloud outages, cyberattacks, and human error by making resilience measurable, continuous and actionable. CRPM analyzes the full cloud environment checking both whether data stores are backed up and whether the underlying infrastructure can be reconstructed thereby addressing a critical gap highlighted during recent major outages at AWS and Microsoft Azure, when many companies found that backup alone was insufficient to return systems online. By combining principles from Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) with cloud-automation intelligence, CRPM provides a readiness score for all cloud assets, flags resiliency risks such as reliance on a single region or service, and automates infrastructure redeployment so businesses can resume operations even while the cloud provider’s control plane is down.
