Oracle Launches Cloud Networking Features for All Workloads

Oracle

Oracle has launched new networking features in Oracle Acceleron. This is part of its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. These enhancements aim to boost performance, security, and cost-effectiveness for all workloads Oracle Acceleron builds on over a decade of cloud networking gains. It uses special network fabrics, direct data paths, and combined Network Interface Cards (NICs). This setup delivers ultra-low latency and high bandwidth links. Host-level zero-trust packet routing and multi-planar designs that strengthen security and resilience are among the key features. This architecture condenses several layers of complexity into a programable foundation, that combines networking, storage, and security innovation that work in a uniform manner across a wide range of hardware. Customers enjoy line-rate encryption throughput, double the amount of potential network processing capacity, and improved storage Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS). These improvements help OCI customers, from global web apps to advanced AI models. They can now enjoy a secure and efficient cloud foundation.
