Quectel Wireless Solutions has unveiled the AR588MA, the industry’s first 5G-Advanced (5G-A) automotive-grade cellular module compliant with the 3GPP R18 standard, designed to set a new benchmark in vehicle connectivity by delivering industry-leading performance, stability and reliability for intelligent, connected vehicles worldwide. Built on MediaTek’s latest MT2739 platform, the AR588MA supports 5G-A communication and integrates both NB-NTN and NR-NTN satellite communication capabilities, Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) technology for enhanced connection reliability, and intelligent driving scenario recognition to adapt connectivity dynamically.
