1Password Unveils New Integration With CrowdStrike® Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM

1Password

1Password, a leader in identity security, today announced a new integration with CrowdStrike that consolidates security events and information all in one place. This new integration with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM unifies 1Password, third-party and Falcon platform data, threat intelligence, AI, and workflow automation to drive SOC transformation and reduce the hassle of monitoring multiple security solutions by tracking all security events in a single, unified platform.

Through this integration, CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM ingests 1Password Business account activity like sign-in attempts, item usage, and audit events using the 1Password Events API. Enterprise security teams can then build custom graphs and dashboards to analyze account activity, set up custom alerts, and cross-reference 1Password events with data from other services.

Falcon Next-Gen SIEM delivers more capabilities and up to 150x faster search performance than legacy SIEMs and solutions positioned as SIEM alternatives, at an 80% lower total cost of ownership. Customers can:

  • Find and investigate evasive threats with AI-powered detections and rich contextual insights from 1Password;
  • Accelerate deployment with streamlined 1Password data onboarding and third-party automated response actions;
  • Unify SOC data and workflows to deliver superior security outcomes at lower total cost

The integration arrives as the company just unveiled 1Password® Extended Access Management. This new solution enables businesses to secure every sign-in to every application from every device and improve security while accelerating productivity and cost savings. Recent research shows that 34% of employees use unapproved apps and tools to boost productivity, and 79% of security pros don’t feel their security protections are adequate. The new integration makes it even easier for 1Password Extended Access Management to secure access to all the places where sensitive business data is stored and accessed.

“Enterprise security departments face an uphill battle balancing security and productivity in today’s hybrid workplace,” said David Faugno, President and Chief Operating Officer at 1Password. “1Password helps enterprises address this challenge by allowing users to use the applications and devices they choose to stay productive while ensuring those applications are accessed securely from devices that can be trusted. The integration of the data from this critical security layer with CrowdStrike Falcon Next-Gen SIEM will provide security that keeps up with the demands of the modern workforce.”
