Lenovo Accelerates Smarter AI for All Through Collaboration with Databricks

Lenovo

Lenovo partnered with Databricks to drive AI adoption among its customers. As a Databricks Consulting & Systems Integration (C&SI) Partner of Choice , Lenovo will work with enterprises to help them leverage enhanced data management capabilities, streamlining access to data from multiple sources and removing barriers to successful AI adoption.

The offering will be managed by the Lenovo AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE), designed to help customers quickly, cost-effectively, and at scale with solutions that take AI from ideation to reality. Working with the Databricks data intelligence platform , Lenovo will enable businesses to bring together their data sources to increase the use of generative AI, improve their data analytics capabilities, and drive innovation. The Lenovo AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) will provide services to help customers define outcomes and rapidly innovate with the Databricks platform to meet their unique business needs.

“ We’ve spoken to many customers at different stages of their AI journey, and while most want and feel a pressing need to embrace the benefits, their businesses aren’t ready yet,” said Linda Yao, COO and chief strategy officer, Lenovo Solutions & Services Group. “ Our latest research showed that 90% of CIOs surveyed see AI as a game changer, but more than half feel their organizations lack the technical skills to quickly adapt AI to their needs. By adding Databricks to Lenovo’s ecosystem of leading software vendors , we can further advance our vision of AI for All and make the technology available to more customers.”

Starting with Greater China and Asia Pacific and expanding globally, Lenovo will offer end-to-end expertise in data management solutions and services, including cloud, data and AI strategy, data platform modernization, data migration, pre-built code for rapid implementation, optimization, governance and audit management, and AI and ML use cases.

“ Our partnership with Lenovo is a testament to our unwavering commitment to democratizing data and AI across every enterprise. We are proud to see our relationship with Lenovo grow from a customer to a critical partner. Together, we are driving unprecedented innovation, accelerating growth, and delivering exceptional value to our customers on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform,” said Greg Taylor, vice president of partners at Databricks.

Lenovo earned partner status based on its deep and broad expertise in IT solutions, including over 10 years of public cloud solutions practice and deep operational experience gained from over 15 years of building data platforms. This new offering is part of Lenovo’s broader AI Services practice, which provides training and tools to help customers maximize their use of AI.

According to the findings of the recent CIO report , most enterprises are struggling to deploy AI-powered solutions quickly, efficiently and securely. To support its customers globally, Lenovo has introduced a comprehensive portfolio of AI services, aligned with Gartner®’s five essential phases of AI adoption . The Lenovo AI CoE aims to accelerate these services and use cases to achieve faster results and improve efficiency by leveraging AI to unlock the value of their data.
