Armis Acquires OTORIO to Lead in OT Security

Armis

Armis, a leading cyber exposure management and security company, has announced its acquisition of OTORIO, a prominent provider of operational technology (OT) and cyber-physical systems (CPS) security solutions.

As part of this acquisition, OTORIO’s Titan platform will be integrated into Armis’ cloud-based Centrix™ cyber exposure management platform. This integration will enhance Armis’ OT/CPS security suite, while also introducing an on-premises CPS solution for organizations that operate in isolated environments or lack online access.

“We are seeing unprecedented demand across all industries, but for some specific verticals, customers require a hybrid environment for complete protection. With this acquisition, Armis can now offer an on-premises solution to customers who require a fully climate-controlled environment for heavy industry and critical infrastructure such as energy or utilities,” said Yevgeny Dibrov, CEO and co-founder of Armis.

“I am excited to welcome the OTORIO team to Armis and leverage their expertise and deep foundational industry knowledge to help our customers secure their critical infrastructure,” continued Dibrov. “This new hybrid and on-premises expansion of Armis Centrix™ makes it the most comprehensive platform for any customer looking to secure their operational technology and cyber-physical environments.”

Founded in 2018 by Daniel Bren and Yair Attar, OTORIO has built a strong reputation in securing heavy industry and critical infrastructure. The company serves a global customer base across key sectors such as oil and gas, utilities, and manufacturing. Specializing in cyber-physical, converged, and isolated environments, OTORIO provides proactive security measures against cyber threats. By incorporating OTORIO’s capabilities, including Secure Remote Access (SRA) for Zero Trust security and advanced attack path mapping, Armis strengthens its ability to deliver a unified security solution for critical infrastructure, industrial, and manufacturing environments.

“Armis has quickly become the leading provider of cyber threat exposure management and has built an industry-leading cloud SaaS platform that delivers unmatched visibility, security, and risk management to enterprises across all industries,” said Daniel Bren, CEO and co-founder of OTORIO. “I am thrilled that our team is joining Armis at this time and will be able to leverage our deep operational context in ICS/CPS environments and help customers achieve complete resiliency and compliant business operations.”

Armis has a well-established history of successfully integrating acquisitions into its Armis Centrix™ platform, transforming acquired technologies into significant revenue drivers. Following its previous acquisitions of Silk Security and CTCI, the company achieved an impressive 2,000% increase in associated revenues, showcasing its ability to accelerate growth and drive value while advancing towards an initial public offering (IPO).

This marks Armis’ third acquisition in under a year, following the acquisitions of AI security startup CTCI and risk prioritization startup Silk Security. These strategic moves reinforce Armis’ commitment to expanding its product capabilities and extending its reach into new market segments.

As the leader in cyber threat exposure management, Armis continues to offer state-of-the-art security solutions across industries and environments. Its platform is uniquely designed to address the full spectrum of cyber exposure risks, from on-premises systems to cloud-based infrastructures. In October 2024, Armis secured a $200 million funding round, further accelerating its growth and enabling the company to execute its vision and meet evolving customer demands.
