RSA, the leading provider of identity-centric security solutions, announced that RSA ID Plus for Microsoft its new category of solution designed to add a heightened layer of security to Microsoft Entra ID is now generally available.
The initial offering, RSA ID Plus M1, is now listed on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and delivers essential features to help businesses defend against emerging threats while maintaining operational continuity across both Microsoft and non-Microsoft environments.
Key Features of RSA ID Plus for Microsoft M1
- Protection across Microsoft and non-Microsoft ecosystems: RSA ID Plus covers legacy, OT, Microsoft and non-Microsoft environments by bringing modern multi‐factor and passwordless authentication to data centres, mainframes, macOS, AD-joined devices, Entra-joined PCs and servers (including older OS versions), and other web servers and critical infrastructure beyond Entra’s reach.
- Availability and business-critical resilience: RSA’s unique hybrid high-availability architecture and offline capabilities ensure that business-critical resources on-premises or laptops disconnected from the network remain protected even when cloud services are unavailable.
- Adaptive defence against MFA bypass attacks: With RSA Help Desk Live Verify, the company addresses attacks targeting IT help-desk staff and end users. The patented technology uses phishing-resistant, password-less identity verification to stop attackers from exploiting registration or login flaws.
- Seamless Microsoft integration: RSA ID Plus works alongside Microsoft Entra ID Plan 1 and Plan 2, enabling organisations to close security gaps without adding complexity.
