Capco, a Wipro company and global management and technology consulting firm, has joined OpenAI’s Beta Services Partner Program, gaining preferential access to the latest AI innovations. Capco and OpenAI will collaborate to solve complex client problems, implement scalable solutions, and position Capco as a trusted AI partner for financial services and energy clients worldwide.
Through this service partnership, Capco gains early access to OpenAI’s technologies, technical support, solution architects, and training resources. OpenAI will benefit from Capco’s more than 25 years of experience with global transformation projects and its proven deployment experience in the financial services and energy sectors. Together, Capco and OpenAI will explore innovative solutions to address the biggest challenges facing customers in the financial and energy sectors today.
The opportunities presented by AI-powered innovations are enormous and range from improved product design to operational changes and compliance, as well as higher employee productivity and hyper-personalized customer experiences.
One example of an existing offering developed by Capco’s AI Lab using OpenAI technology is Compliance Assist. Part of Capco’s Smart Suite range of AI-powered solutions and services, Compliance Assist helps banks proactively scan for upcoming changes in regulatory frameworks and automatically identify the necessary adjustments to a company’s processes and procedures – saving thousands of working hours.
Companies in the financial services sector must ensure that their regulatory policies and processes always comply with applicable regulations, otherwise they risk reputational damage or fines. For multinational banks in particular, this translates into a significant time commitment, as they have to update hundreds of policies, procedures, and reports. When a leading European retail bank recently implemented Compliance Assist, it was able to reduce its workload by 80% and halve the time required to assess the impact on policies, procedures, and controls.
