Dataminr has launched a new AI cyber defense platform that enables businesses to transition from reactive cyber defense strategies to proactive and intelligent strategies. The Dataminr for Cyber Defense platform provides contextualized information and response by combining real-time external threat intelligence with internal system information.
The platform was developed by Dataminr following the acquisition of ThreatConnect and utilizes predictive and agent AI technologies to identify and respond to threats based on their relevance and business impact. By correlating external signals with an organization’s internal telemetry, the solution enables security teams to focus on the risks that matter most while reducing noise from irrelevant alerts.
The platform is structured around three core solutions. The Client-Tailored Threat Intelligence module filters vast volumes of data to surface high-priority threats in real time. Agentic TI Ops orchestrates workflows such as investigation, enrichment, and dissemination of intelligence without adding operational complexity. Meanwhile, Predictive Threat Exposure Management applies continuous risk assessment to identify vulnerabilities and guide response actions based on measurable business outcomes.

“No business—and no critical infrastructure—is immune from cyber threats. Real resilience means moving past reactive alerting to proactive, secure-by-design defense: understand the threat, prepare for it, and respond fast. But with defenders increasingly unable to match machine-speed attacks, we need agentic AI to close the gap. Using Dataminr to fuse external foresight with internal telemetry, organizations can finally cut through the noise and neutralize threats before they cause material impact,” said Jen Easterly, Chair of Dataminr’s Corporate Advisory Board.
The platform aligns with emerging industry frameworks such as Unified Cyber Risk Intelligence (UCRI) and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), emphasizing continuous monitoring and prioritized risk mitigation. Dataminr’s architecture leverages proprietary large language models and multi-modal data ingestion from over one million public sources to deliver real-time insights.
Early deployments indicate measurable impact, including faster investigation cycles and improved effectiveness across existing security tools. By shifting from alert-driven workflows to continuous, intelligence-driven decision-making, Dataminr aims to redefine how enterprises approach cyber resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
